Prince Bishop Vets Reviews
The team at Prince Bishop vets in Leadgate have looked after my cats Willow and Django brilliantly since we moved up from London in 2023 after several years with our previous outstanding vet. I needn't have worried that we'd find the same level of empathy, sensitivity, skills and expertise but I did. The admin and reception team are warm, quick and responsive. The nurses and vets listen well and understand the worry we go through when our non-human family are vulnerable. The cleaning team keeps the practice immaculate. All of these things matter and are noticed. When I had to let Willow go a few months ago, after 12 years together, I was given a hug after breaking down on arrival and we were given a special room so we could say goodbye in privacy and comfort. This is how things should be done.

Jul 14, 2025 · Jeff OliverFab vets, have been great with my Border Collie. Mine is always a nervous wreck going in but the staff make her so happy and calm by providing treats and lots of attention. Just be careful when you visit as sometimes they don’t tell you if there’s a charge due. They will just send you a bill via email so make sure you double check with the receptionist if there’s any outstanding bills etc. but overall had no issues.Every person will tell you which vets to and not to go to however just do your research and check prices of vets.Only advice is try to avoid chain vets that have been bought out by big companies as they put prices up and the service can be poor.
Jun 21, 2025 · Rachel SIt has been some time before I could write this review. My 13 year old Jack was brought the centre as an emergency. He was suffering badly. The team made sure he was seen immediately. It turned out to be a heart problem with long term issues. With the gentleness of empathy they suggested it would be best to euthanize. The teams caring was exemplary and eased the heart ache I was feeling.Thank you team.
