Oaklands Veterinary Centre and Equine Hospital is conveniently situated at Low Ln, High Leven, Yarm TS15 9JT, UK. This location places it within the picturesque North Yorkshire countryside, yet it remains highly accessible for residents of Yarm, Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, and the wider Teesside and County Durham areas.
High Leven is a rural village, and the address on Low Lane suggests a setting that can accommodate both a veterinary centre and an equine hospital, often requiring more space than urban practices. For those travelling by car, the site is well-connected via local road networks, with easy access from major routes. The TS15 9JT postcode indicates its precise location, making it simple to find using satellite navigation systems. While public transport options might be more limited compared to city centres, the strategic positioning in a semi-rural area ensures that pet owners and horse owners from a broad catchment area can reach the facility without undue difficulty, which is particularly important for equine emergencies. The ample space typically found at such locations often means that parking for clients, including those with horseboxes or trailers, is readily available, further enhancing its accessibility.

Feb 16, 2025 · kelly webbMassive THANKYOU to the fantastic team at Oaklands. My elderly dog was in a bad way with his teeth but they guided and gave reassurance from the start to go through with procedure (not an easy decision when he is 15 ) on the day treated him like he was their own special fur baby , explained everything and called me as soon as they could to let me know all was well. On picking him up I was very impressed with the time they took to tell and show me all about what they had done.Care these people showed , vets, nurses, reception is incredible and very much appreciated.
Oct 16, 2024 · Terry CrispI have been left shaken up and completely gobsmacked with this vet practice after many years of trust and loyalty to their service today.Do not trust them their communication is terrible and all they care about is MONEY.Charging double if not triple for vet care when vets down the road charge a fraction of their cost.My pet did not Recieve much needed care today because of their poor communication which has resulted in a suffering animal and further trouble and expense to go else where.I will be leaving with a bad taste I'm my mouth and would urge people to do their research before choosing this practice to care for their animals.Shame on you Oaklands
Oct 09, 2024 · Shaun WebbOur cat had developed several diseases and needed regular vet visits and last minute appointments, especially this year. Our Ingleby vets of almost 10 years started having serious staffing issues and their service declined rapidly. I am so glad we moved to Oaklands in June, and I wish we had done it sooner. Oaklands vets provided excellent care for our beloved Mrs Snuffles in the last 3 months of her life, and helped us say goodbye to her at the right time. We will keep the sympathy card with her paw print forever.
Sep 14, 2023 · Nikola KamlerovaVery very unprofessional!! Money greedy!! No care and compassion. Receptionist beyond rude and the manager WOW embarrassing!! After the way they spoke to me I would certainly not trust them with my animals!! I have my own company with 28 members of staff and if anyone of them spoke the way I was spoke to today they wouldn't be in a job!! A soft approach and an explanation would of gone down better then immediate demands for money and been shouted over. Avoid!
