Beechwood Veterinary Hospital - Doncaster Reviews
Had to seek the help and assistance with my cat Moon who had been attacked by another cat. He's a 19yr old cat and has lost his hearing. He was shocked and traumatised after a bite to his face that was bleeding quite a bit and other wounds to his legs. The Vet and Nurse were lovely with him and understanding. I was so glad they were on hand as this happened at a weekend when my local vets were closed. He's still a bit subdued but thank you. Linda

Mar 14, 2025 · Lindsay ClarkWe travelled to Doncaster from Scotland to visit family. We had driven down with our 14 year old dog who unexpectedly lost the use of her back legs on arrival in Doncaster. The next morning she had shown no signs of improvement and we were recommended Beechwood Veterinary Hospital. I rang them at 8am and they were able to contact our vet in Scotland to get our dogs records and were able to provide an early appointment at 10:30am. The receptionist was very kind and helpful on the phone and I appreciated their helping us out with such short notice, considering we were not registered with their practice. By the time we arrived for the appointment, our poorly doggo wasn’t looking too great at all and the vet feared the worst. They whisked her away for tests and 90 minutes later somehow returned with a much happier dog who was walking, albeit on wonky legs. And she has continued to improve since. We were given time and the help we needed and they even made payment via claiming from our pet insurance easy. We were so grateful to find this practice and to get some much needed help for our elderly dog who means the world to us. An all round positive experience and not just because the outcome was a positive one, it was the way the practise dealt with our situation, and how willing they were to support us at such short notice, when we really needed emergency help. Fantastic! And so very grateful!!
Sep 27, 2024 · Megan RorkeWhile in the vets today, there was an elderly lady who had recently lost her beloved pet. The lady was absolutely bereft and heartbroken to the point it brought me to tears. I can’t commend the reception team enough for how they supported her while showing absolute compassion. Awsome work they should be so proud.
Apr 08, 2025 · Paul MaxtonI would like to just take a moment to thank Dr Aina, she is one of the best vets I've ever been to. She is so thoughtful, kind and understanding, and I really appreciate how she runs the consultations, and every time I am really appreciative of her communication skills, veterinary skills, and understanding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
