Capontree Vets Reviews
I was staying in the area & my puppy developed an eye infection. The receptionist at Capontree couldn’t have been more helpful, even re-booking in Longtown when I mistakenly had thought Brampton was the nearest practice.Matthew was so good with Mika on his first proper vet visit. Thank you!
May 29, 2025 · Sheila GrayWhile on holiday in The Borders one of our dogs injured his stopper pad on a Saturday morning and on recommendation we went to the Longtown practice. The service and treatment were exceptional. When the vet found out that our dog competed in Agility he knew the importance of the stopper pad and tailored the treatment accordingly, using non dissolving stitches to ensure full recovery over a 2 week period. He also successfully tried sedation rather than a general anaesthetic to reduce stress on our dog (and costs). The follow up visit 2 days later was just as friendly, helpful and professional. This practice is superb and fully earn a 5 star review.
Mar 06, 2025 · Billy BuckenhamI can't recommend these vets enough been with them for 10yrs now. Went today with our elderly labrador for her monthly injection. They are always so friendly so gentle and very kind. They always put the animals needs 1st rather than charging for this test and that test. Amazing work as usual Haltwhistle.
