Services Offered
- Canine Physiotherapy: Utilising a range of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy, to help reduce pain, improve mobility, restore muscle function, and enhance overall physical performance. This is crucial for dogs recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
- Canine Hydrotherapy: Offered in a specially designed pool, hydrotherapy provides a low-impact exercise environment. The buoyancy of the water reduces stress on joints, making it ideal for rehabilitation, weight management, and building muscle strength. It's also excellent for improving cardiovascular fitness and overall well-being.
- Rehabilitation Programmes: Tailored programmes designed for dogs recovering from specific conditions such as elbow dysplasia, hip dysplasia, cruciate ligament injuries, spinal issues, and various orthopaedic and neurological problems. These programmes integrate physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for comprehensive recovery.
- Geriatric Care: Specialised therapy to help older dogs maintain mobility, manage age-related conditions like arthritis, and improve their quality of life as they age. This includes gentle exercises and pain management strategies.
- Weight Management Support: Hydrotherapy and controlled exercise programmes to assist overweight dogs in shedding excess pounds, thereby reducing strain on their joints and improving their overall health.
- Fun Swims: For dogs who simply enjoy the water or need to build confidence. These sessions offer a safe and controlled environment for recreational swimming, promoting fitness and mental stimulation.

Apr 17, 2024 · Rob and Jo MaidmentOscar ESS goes to see Kelly as he has hip dysplasia. The therapy has really helped him gain much needed muscle in his back legs. Kelly is lovely and really knows her stuff. Thanks so much from Oscar and from us. Can't recommend enough
Oct 15, 2024 · Beth PolkinghorneI've been taking Jake an Ozzie to see Kelly an Becca for a few months now. I find them both very knowledgable. They take time to get to know your dogs so they are as happy an comfortable as possible. Woukd highly recommend
Oct 15, 2024 · Jane PennyMy dog JJ bounds down to see Kelly, wagging his tail, when he visits the hydrotherapy centre. He wears his hydro harness with pride and often runs onto the treadmill (sniffing for a goody). several times (when he hasn't been worked too hard), he often skips back up the path afterwards too. Kelly is thorough and is very knowledgeable in what she does. She really looks after the dogs in her care and we have seen huge improvements in JJs mobility since starting treatment.
Jan 22, 2024 · Victoria PhillipsOur pup was less than a year old when we found out he had severe hip dysplasia and had to have surgery. Milo has been going to Kelly ever since for physio and now hydrotherapy. We were absolutely clueless with how to help him recover but Kelly has been amazing at explaining everything to us and showing us what to do. Milo now goes for his hydro regularly and is improving every time.. I know if it wasn't for Kelly then he wouldn't be doing as great as he is. She’s always there to answer any questions and Milo absolutely loves her (maybe a bit too much!)I couldn't recommend Kelly enough!!
