Vets for Pets - Sheffield Wadsley Bridge Reviews
I rang yesterday needed to see a vet pretty urgent as per video vet call I was told the vet was off poorly, and was directed to Barnsley which I am unable to get to. Asked for an emergency appointment tomorrow and was told as their vet was really poorly they wasn't a vet all week. I questioned how can a vets practice not have a vet in all week. She then said well I mean we have no appointments available all week, which I just find totally unacceptable. How can you as a vets practice be telling your customers you can't take your sick pets their to be seen at all this week. Surely they should still offer emergency appointments in your own practice not just direct you to their out if hours surgery which is miles away in Barnsley. I managed to get my pet in with another local vet the following morning with no issues at all. I understand you may have staffing issues when someone is off sick but to say your pet can't be seen at your vet at all that week is just ridiculous and not acceptable to me.
Feb 18, 2025 · Rachael LockUnbelievably rude reception staff on when I came for my cat’s appointment Saturday 22nd November - we waited for 15 minutes at reception with no vet staff in sight, I’d just wrangled my cat into a box for this and he wasn’t getting any happier, only for two ladies to come out and tell me I was over 20 minutes late - well I wasn’t when I got there! There was no need to be so rude, like I haven’t just been stood there watching the clock. Check the cameras you can see how long we were waiting to be seen. To be fair they did eventually tell me that even at the time I arrived it would already be too late for the appointment, which is fair enough but I didn’t need to hang around any longer if that was the case, so what were they doing in the back that whole time when they had customers waiting?
