May 06 · Carol WrightI just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and share my experience with Matt Smith Vets. They’re always fantastic with my animals (pictured), but what really stands out is how great they are with people too.I had taken my cat Money in for a spay when we had quite the shock when I randomly fainted for the first time in my life and the team was incredibly supportive, they helped me recover and added some colour back to my cheeks. They are always reasonable and transparent with their price points, so I don't have vet bill anxiety or worry about hidden extras. They also include follow up appointments and check-ups, which goes to show the commitment they have to your pet's well-being. They also take the time to ensure you understand aftercare, what to look for and allay any anxieties or fears.Regarding the surgery, her incision is neat, small and was made with considerations for feline behaviour and in case we have to (gently) lift her up and move her. The wound is neatly sutured with dissolvable stitches. We picked up Money about an hour ago and she is healthy, active and back to her old self like nothing happened. In fact, she's cuddled up with me as I speak.Wonderful staff, wonderful service, wonderful vet surgery 💫
April 15 · Silas StringfellowWhen it’s the phone call you don’t want to make, the call that’s breaking your heart. True professional and caring as I had to have my little Luna laid to rest. Chesterfield Pet Crematorium did my vets proud. Then today I received a card from the vets. It’s the small things that make you cry but help you along in the healing process ❤️
September 14 · Kelly turnerIncredible service and the most caring staff I have ever experienced in all my years of owning pets. I unfortunately had to have my elderly hamster put to sleep and I was incredibly upset and the care and attention they showed me absolutely humbled me. I even received a hand written condolence card in the post. They all went above and beyond to help me and provide end of life care to my beloved pet. Thank you to all the team xx
