This level of holistic care, focusing on the emotional as well as physical needs, truly distinguishes Two Counties Vets.
The practice prides itself on offering comprehensive veterinary care for a wide array of animals, including common household pets like dogs and cats, and importantly, small mammals such as rats, which often require specialised knowledge and a gentle touch. The positive feedback specifically mentioning the care provided to a pet rat by vet Eloise underscores their breadth of expertise and their dedication to making every animal feel safe and comfortable, regardless of their size or species. This commitment to tailoring treatment and advice to individual pets highlights a truly client-centred and animal-focused philosophy.
Operating as a local, independent veterinary practice, Two Counties Vets offers a personal touch that can sometimes be lost in larger corporate chains. This allows for a more intimate understanding of individual pet needs and stronger relationships between the veterinary team and pet owners, fostering trust and consistency in care. It is this combination of professional excellence, genuine compassion, and personalised service that has cemented Two Counties Vets as an indispensable part of the pet care landscape in Doncaster.

Two Counties Vets Reviews
We were with Two Counties Vets for many years, and the care they showed to our two dogs, Poppy and Marmite, was second to none. From routine visits to the hardest goodbyes, they were compassionate, kind, and genuinely caring - not just with our dogs, but with us too. I’ll always be grateful for everything they’ve done for our little family. They truly go above and beyond.
Jun 03, 2025 · Elaine McPheeVisited a few times when my pet rat is really poorly. The vet Eloise is so nice with him and provided great advice and explained everything clearly and provided great treatment advice. It's great to have somewhere to take my rat where I can feel he will be safe and comfortable.

Apr 28, 2025 · Debbie HarrisonPerformed surgeries on our animals and always taken such good care. Would never go anywhere else
Jul 09, 2025 · COur 11 week old puppy was in severe distress, choking uncontrollably and this vets refused to make an appointment with us or even take any information just because she isn’t “registered” with them.I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed in their behaviour towards us, where is the compassion and care for our pooch?Instead of driving 7 minutes down the road to this vets, we had to drive 40 to another. This vets were due to close 25 minutes after we called, there is no excuse when we could’ve been there in such short time.We will never bring our dog here and advise others to do the same.
