Heath Veterinary Group Reviews
I asked if this vets could spay my female cat who is very likely to be pregnant since her first season. As I’m on UC she is registered with the PDSA and they have a vast waiting list for this service, so they recommend that you seek help with a private vet practice.Even though this is my most local vet, I was told that they wouldn’t do anything for a cat registered elsewhere. To this I responded so I have an animal in need and you won’t help her? The receptionist flatly said “No!”I reiterated that I would be happy to pay and register her with them; yet still a firm “No!”What type of vet turns an animal / pet owner in need away, when they clearly need help?!I would NOT recommend a vets that sticks to weird and unusual policies regarding potential new customers and their pets.
Jun 03, 2025 · Evan ReesThe pet plan is a great idea especially as it includes every vaccination. But unfortunately when it comes to acquiring the flea treatment which I signed up to for a hassle free plan has been nothing but hassle. No one ever answers the phone so the past 4 months I’ve not received the flea treatment on time. Same as this month it’s due Wednesday but I’m unable to get hold of any of the vets to give my dogs weight for this months treatment. I’m don’t drive so I’m unable to go to each store to find out what the issue is and now stuck with no treatment for this month. I may cancel my plan it’s not working for me. I’ve not received any health checks or nail clippings. It’s a great plan if it was actually carried out correctly.
Dec 11, 2023 · Robyn SterioAm considering legal action as I had my dog put down after Mr Broughton convinced me she had bone cancer in her leg. I had thought it was a dislocated shoulder after a fall in the house. No tests, or x-rays were done and did not realise this was negligence. He also convinced me the swelling around my other dogs back end was his anal glands. He had nerve damage of some sort to his back legs. I took both of them back repeatedly as I was not happy with the diagnosis. A junior vet thought it was a dislocated shoulder for one and an infection in the other. Mr Broughton was present on both occasions and rubbished her each time. Unfortunately I believed the owner.I have written a previous review but it appears to have gone into the ether! Let's hope this can be viewed to prevent someone else's pet being put down!!
May 16, 2024 · Gail MillAlways a calm and caring environment. Jess is extremely efficient and knowledgeable. She takes time to explain treatment options and costs involved clearly. Although busy the whole team takes time to ensure both pet and owner looked after with dignity and respect.
Oct 11, 2018 · Lucky NLovely vet experience for my cat Freckles. I hate injections and the yearly jab for my cat is fraught free everything is calmness and relaxed. I can recommend this practice.
