Forest Veterinary Clinic Ltd Reviews
All the staff, especially the vets have cared for our rescue fur baby. At the time we needed them the most, all the staff were compassionate, answered all our questions and worries in a caring and informative manner so we could make an informed decision. We were given time with our girl and we are so grateful that she was at peace quickly and with dignity. We weren't rushed to leave. We're thankful beyond words.
Mar 13, 2025 · Jane MetcalfeI have dealt with terrace road vets for years now and never fail to amaze me .we have recently had our jack put to sleep only last week and leading up to this and during and after I cannot thank each and every member of staff .You all have shown that it's not just a job and another pet ,but go above and beyond to listen ,give as much time and compassion and empathy .We have been devastated over jack and without your kindness and support we couldn't have got through this .we are still grieving but cme to pick jack up to be told not your dog or jack is ready but to say your baby boy is ready to come home ,wow just how lovly those words meant even though I cried because he was our baby boy and picking him up and still having kind words and care meant such alot .we then get in tye car to open the card with his paw prints and fir which I wasn't expecting just overwhelmed us .Thankyou so much I will be eternally grateful and never forget .For now as it has devastated us to lose jack we will not be having anymore pets for a while as nothing can take place of our fir baby boy but if we ever do we will not hesitate to come here again .Lots of love to you all and I can't thankyou enough from the bottom of my heart ♥️ xx
May 13, 2025 · Rachel BrownVery prompt service — same-day visits for urgent cases. The staff are always kind and helpful. Veterinarian Sophie is caring and supportive, and her calm, personal approach to my dog also helps me feel at ease. By far the best veterinary clinic I’ve been to.
May 23, 2025 · Dita TraskovskaOutstanding - Forrest Veterinary Clinic, MansfieldI can't thank the team at Forrest Veterinary Clinic enough for the exceptional care they provided to our beloved black cat, Jackie. After being lost and roaming for over 10 weeks, Jackie returned home severely underweight, malnourished, and in a very fragile state. From the moment we brought her in, the entire team was incredibly supportive, kind, and hopeful. Their attentiveness and expert care played a huge role in Jackie’s recovery. Over several weeks, they guided us through her rehabilitation, and thanks to their dedication, Jackie is now back to full strength.A heartfelt thank you to Imogen and Maddy from the veterinary surgeon team for their skill and compassion, and also to the wonderful front-of-house staff who got to know Jackie well and always made her feel special with plenty of fuss and affection during each visit. We are truly grateful for everything you've done for Jackie and the positive nature in which you handled everything, in particular when we thought that there would be a sad outcome. Highly recommend Forrest Veterinary Clinic to anyone seeking excellent, compassionate care for their pets.
Jun 06, 2025 · Andrew HillAbsolutely appalling experience with Forest Vets Mansfield. As a registered dog rescue charity, we called to bring in a UK Surrender dog in need of a vet check and vaccination today.Shockingly, they refused to provide the service, demanding previous vet history—something that is often impossible for an abandoned rescue dog.Despite explaining that this was a UK dog surrendered with no available records, they were exceptionally rude to our foster and to us over the phone. Instead of acting in the best interest of the dog, they sent us away, dismissing our concerns without giving any proper reason. To make matters worse, they falsely claimed that having full medical history is a legal requirement before treating a dog. This is simply not true—rescues across the UK work with vets who understand that abandoned and neglected dogs rarely come with records.Their complete lack of compassion, refusal to help a vulnerable dog, and rude, dismissive attitude are utterly disgraceful. A vet practice should prioritise animal welfare, not turn away dogs in need! Not saying about at least a little respect to the hard work rescues are doing. If you care about animals, think twice before trusting this practice with your pet.
