Chorley Vets Reviews
I'm incredibly protective of our cats and was really worried about moving to a new vets. Chorley Vets have been fantastic, they're always very quick to respond over the phone, app or email and the entire team have always been fantastic with all of our cats. You can always see from sitting in the reception how considerate they are with all of the animals too, if a reactive dog comes in they offer a separate waiting room/area and they're quick to ask dogs to move to one side of the waiting area if we ever come in with our cats. They're fantastic, highly recommend!!
Jul 13, 2025 · PJ GraysonChorley vets took care of our pet Walter (and us) with such care and love and dignity. We moved to Chorley vets when our previous vets couldn’t seem to help our cat get better at all. During our first call, Sam on reception was so kind and helpful, and her experience and professionalism shone through as she suggested we came in that same day. We met our vet Louise that day and she was able to diagnose and treat our pet that day and change the course of his life.Walter passed away almost 3 weeks ago and Chorley vets supported us through everything, they held us through the process and we couldn’t have asked for more. We feel so lucky to have had Louise as our vet, she is a true Angel, so professional and kind and nothing was ever too much to ask. Thank you Chorley Vets.
Jun 14, 2025 · Emile Mc CoyWe took our hamster to Chorley Vets on Tuesday morning and although a trip to the vets is never fun they made it the best experience they could. I called up and they got him in first thing the next morning as I explained that I was going on holiday the next day. The vet he saw was lovely and he seemed really calmed with her even though he is normally very unsettled around new people. Although we hope he won’t NEED to be back, you’ll definitely be our first call if he does. Thanks guys🐹💗
Jun 26, 2025 · Morgan HarrisonUnfortunately, the only time we used Chorley Vets was to put our Chocolate Lab Buttons to sleep. Our registered vets were shut but luckily Chorley Vets kindly took him in to be seen, sadly they gave us the news that was feared but expected. That the best option was to put our boy to sleep as he was in so much pain. I wish we had registered him with Chorley Vets as they have been incredible . Very understanding, friendly and compassionate reception staff and very professional veterinary staff. I was allowed to stay after closing time so I could call round my family to tell them the news, discuss the painful decision and allow them to say goodbye over the phone. I never felt rushed although I did feel bad keeping them past 4 but they were really lovely about the situation. The paw and nose prints alongside the vials of fur you get for free are a lovely touch.I would highly recommend.
