Pinewood Veterinary Practice Reviews
Pinewood Vets are amazing! We were not customers of them until very recently. Our dog, Blue, had collapsed at home and Pinewood Vets in Chorley saw our dog straight away. Our usual vet told us we'd have to wait! The service we received was excellent, from start to finish. The staff who were involved (the majority of the practice) demonstrated the utmost empathy, professionalism and genuine care for Blue and us.The vet sorted for Blue to go to a specialist as it was proven the issue was neurological. Unfortunately, Blue declined over the next 3 days and had to be put to sleep. From a scan they found cancer that had spread which brought on a stroke. No warnings till that horrible day.Absolutely heartbroken, but we couldn't fault Pinewood Vets. Our other dog will now be registered with this practice as I have every faith in them in times of urgent need. Thank you so much.
Mar 14, 2025 · Lesley MatherStaff communicated well, my cat had needed an operation. The Vet pre Op had provided a quote & explained the procedure, but stated it would be his colleague who performed the Op. Post Op, Veterinary Nurses were respectful of my Cats need to be as undisturbed as possible. They took the lid off her Cat carrier, examined her wounds etc. & chatted to myself while asking relevant questions. The post Op Vet appt went well, again my Cats need for least moving her was respected, temperature taken, wounds checked & cleaned while additional analgesia was offered. Next appt is removal of her stitches. Cat isn't happy being contained in 1 room, however she is improving daily & doesn't appear in pain when touched/ stroked.
Apr 20, 2025 · Louise KavanaghI took my elderly cat to the vets were she was seen by the vet he diagnosed thyroid problems and said the treatment would cost £30 a month, went to pick up my medication this morning and the price has gone up by nearly £150 was totally mislead by the vet really not happy at all. I really wouldn’t recommend them.
