This can mean access to a broader range of specialists, advanced equipment, and standardized protocols across the network, including arrangements for 24-hour emergency care through their hospital network or partner services.
Focus on Customer Service (Mixed Experiences): While one review highlights "fantastic staff" who were "great vets" and looked after their Rottweilers, demonstrating a positive and attentive experience, another review details a significantly distressing experience related to a spaying procedure and subsequent lack of satisfactory resolution. This indicates that while there are positive interactions, consistency in service and communication, particularly when issues arise, can be a variable factor. The ability of the team to manage various pet temperaments and owner concerns is evident in the positive feedback.
Commitment to Pet Welfare (General Medivet Ethos): Medivet as a whole states a commitment to providing exceptional care and focusing on preventative health. This includes promoting regular vaccinations, parasite control, and microchipping. While the specific branch's execution may vary, the overarching philosophy is geared towards comprehensive pet well-being.
Training Practice Status: Some Medivet clinics, including potentially Medivet Adlington (as indicated by "VN Training Practice" on some general Medivet search results), serve as approved Veterinary Nurse Training Practices. Medivet Adlington Reviews
I am absolutely heart broken and distraught by the service my cat received here.I took my kitten in to get spayed, chipped and first vaccinations. About an hour after she was there I received a call that said she was already chipped, and that they’d check to see if she has already been spayed (the woman I got her from said she hadn’t, and the chip information also said she hadn’t) I insisted she hadn’t but said okay. They called back and said they suspected she had and that I could get her whenever I was ready, I asked if they were sure and reassured yes. On collection I asked again and again was told yes and that she should be allowed out. I paid my almost £100 (shock) for the vaccinations, and I was told that also was also the fee just for putting her to sleep. 2 months later and she’s days away from giving birth. I reached out to them almost 4 weeks ago to tell them my suspicions but I have been sent form person to person with no apology, help or advice, I am appalled at how I am being treated. I am appalled at the lack of concern or care of my cats welfare.

May 19, 2025 · Acw Cut LifeOutstanding Vet Practice.I wish I had moved sooner. Excellent care and compassion through surgeries and end of life. With every visit each team member has gone through our different options and associated costs. After 14 years at a rival big brand vets, I couldn’t believe the difference in price. For example – dog tooth removal (complications with heart murmur) originally £1500+ at rival vets. Standish vets only £400, after referral from Adlington. We are so grateful as a family for all your hard work, care and integrity. Wishing you continued success.
Apr 23, 2025 · Sarah CulshawVery helpful staff, it was my pup's first vaccine so talked me through everything that was needed and what to expect next within a time frame.
Jul 15, 2025 · Malcolm CookEmily was great with Ronnie - understood the problem he had and was very kind, unlike the first vet - a man who was shocking, aggressive in his approach and did not listen, so bad that we asked to see another vet at the visit.
