Ark Veterinary Surgery Reviews
We unfortunately had to have our Gecko PTS yesterday. The amazing service, care, compassion and knowledge our Vet had was outstanding. Thank you for all your guidance and support. Highly recommend this vet on all counts. The reception staff are welcoming, supportive and compassionate. The nurses even managed to give us a little keepsake which meant a lot to my son. Thank you!
Jul 19, 2025 · Laura HudsonThe visit to Ark Veterinary Surgery was excellent. Unfortunately I've had to visit the surgery with my dog a lot recently and on the last visit my dog was diagnosed with diabetes. The vet was excellent, she explained everything to me and showed me how to inject my dog with insulin and made me practice injecting my dog so that I knew how to do it myself. The vet was brilliant, she addressed my concerns and made sure I was confident with treating my dog. I would highly recommend Ark Vets.**Updated Review**I have been to the surgery many times since I first left a review as my Toy Poodle has been very ill and the care and treatment she's received has been consistently excellent. I think we've seen all of the vets at the surgery and they have all kept me updated on my dog's condition and thankfully she's improving now. They have really done their best for my girl and I'm truly grateful for that. I also have to mention the ladies on reception who are all very welcoming and cheerful and make you feel at ease. They do their very best to fit you in for appointments, sometimes at short notice. A big thank you to you all.**Updated Review**It's been several months now since my dog was diagnosed with diabetes and she's had some bouts where she's been very ill but the vets have done their best for her and she's much better now. All the vets have been brilliant and keep me well informed so I know exactly what's going on with my girl. The receptionists are great, they always greet you with a warm welcome and they're very good at giving my dog a fuss when we go in. The surgery is like our second home as we go there so often! They've always fitted us in for an appointment, sometimes at short notice which I really appreciate. All the staff at Ark are excellent and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I highly recommend them. A big thank you to you all.
Jun 14, 2025 · Janice DrabbleA sad update to a positive review i have left on Monday. My 4 year old cat Hugo has gone blind in both eyes following a dental cleaning, coupled with extractions. After numerous follow ups for this, no official diagnosis has been made, and the multiple vets i have seen seem unsure of what the issue is, nor can they explain how this has occurred. I have had trust in the profession, but since this has happened, it appears that numerous professionals here can’t give any concrete help for something as severe as a cat going blind following the surgery. I cannot fault Beth, the vet, who has examined him today— she has been the most thorough so far and has done a wonderful job. As for reception, they provided the relevant medical history data, however, they seem extremely reluctant to provide details on complaints procedure, and the details of the surgeries manager. Numerous visits later since Monday, and i still have no answers as to why my young boy has gone blind. His life is forever altered. To make matters worse, i have been charged over £130 for medication for his eyes after the checkups— massive massive upmark compared to original price of the medication. After independent advise, we will be following the relevant procedure for costs incurred, and upcoming costs for my blind boy
