Parasite Control: Advice and provision of treatments for common internal and external parasites such as fleas, ticks, and worms.
Emergency Advice (Out-of-Hours): Guidance for pet emergencies outside of regular operating hours, which may involve referral to a dedicated out-of-hours service or facility, potentially requiring travel to a distant location like Hull, as indicated by client feedback.

Kind and Caring Staff During Difficult Times: A significant highlight is the exceptional kindness, care, and total empathy demonstrated by the staff during the difficult process of saying goodbye to a pet. This compassionate support during end-of-life care is deeply appreciated by grieving owners, as expressed in a heartfelt review for Martha.

Changes in Medication Notification: The practice may no longer send automated notifications for regular medication due dates, focusing instead on annual health checks/boosters. Pet owners are advised to manage their own medication calendars.
Prescription Fee Structure: While prescriptions for online pharmacies are available, a consultation fee is charged for this service, in addition to the cost of the prescription itself, which some clients found unexpected given the brief nature of the consultation.
Out-of-Hours Emergency Protocol: For emergencies outside of regular hours, clients may be directed to travel to a distant emergency vet centre, such as one in Hull, rather than receiving a local out-of-hours service.

Old Courts Veterinary Centre - Brigg Reviews
Had to say goodbye to our special girl Martha last week. Everyone was kind and caring throughout the whole process. Total empathy throughout what was a very difficult time for us. Thank you to the wonderful staff
Jun 05, 2025 · Tina HodgkinThe service here is now extremely poor compared to when Mark had the practice. No longer receive any notification when meds are due, when questioned I was told only notification is for annual health check/boosters, I was told to use my calendar. That’s fine but have the decency to tell people of services you no longer provide.Medication my boy now has, I was told, would be cheaper online “just come to us for a prescription “. £75 later having had to pay a consultation fee and pay for a piece of paper. The consultation consisted of looking in one ear, at one paw and listening to his heart rate, 3/4 minutes max. Absolute rip off.Need an emergency vet out ion hours, get in your car and drive to Hull.I’ve been considering leaving this practice for some time, and now have.Such a shame as Marion has looked after my boy so well, taken time to explain so much to me and clearly cares for the animals, Thankyou so much Marion.Final straw, a review i read a week ago, appalling service which I will not risk happening to my boy.
May 13, 2025 · Niki HootonAfter 15 years here I have never been so rushed for a payment after the death of a loved pet. It used to be a condolence card then a few days later, the bill. Our dig had yo be put down Monday. By Wednesday we were getting calls for the bill to be paid. I have never not paid, the prices seem to have rocketed, or been treated so poorly. Also the lack now of overnight care. Expecting owner's to take a poorly animal to Hull or Doncaster after major surgery. The cars outside are very nice. Made me think these guys are in it for the money. Won't be using again sadly after great care for many years.
Mar 07, 2025 · Sharon GrantOne my friends rang up as her dog was dying and they told them to take it to vets in doncaster seriously, but it was to late and the animal would not Not made it like it died at home but vets did not seem to want be instead in helping and false claim they a 24 emergency service vet. They are not open 24 hours emergency vet service as they claim they tell you take you pet all way to Doncaster even you pet holding is on edge of death seriously worst things to say, when they claim they 24hr emergency services vets that a lie, so need remove they 24hrs emergency services as they clearly don't do this service so it miss leading information and false customers service.
Jun 23, 2025 · Lincolnshire Wildlife PhotographyBrought our dog in for a cut underneath her eye which we thought could get infected, the vet looked at her for a matter of minutes and didn’t move any of the fur around her face to look at it before telling us she was perfectly fine charged us £50 for this. Got worse over the next few days and took her to a new vet who advised it was infected and she was placed on antibiotics, pain relief and anti inflaming tablets as well as wearing a cone. Since then we cancelled the healthy pet plan scandal they like to promote and they are now trying to charge £70 for cancelling it. Drop me a message and I can explain why you’re not getting anymore coin from us. Miriam - was the vet who also gave us no advice on helping to look after our other dog, useless lady 🙂 stay away from this place
