Services Offered:
- Specialised Tortoise Tables: Happy Tortoise Habitat focuses on manufacturing and supplying tortoise tables. These are designed to provide a spacious and appropriate living environment for tortoises, which is crucial for their health and development. Their tables are often noted for being constructed from wood rather than laminated MDF, offering a more natural and durable option for your pet's enclosure.
- Tortoise Accessories: Beyond the tables themselves, they also offer various accessories essential for tortoise care. This can include ceramic lamp holders and other fittings necessary for creating the correct lighting and heating conditions within the habitat. While specific product ranges can vary, their specialisation suggests a curated selection of relevant items.
- Customisation Options: Based on customer feedback, there may be instances where customisation requests are considered, such as adjusting the leg height of tables. While the execution of such requests may vary, it indicates a willingness to discuss specific needs with customers.
Features / Highlights:
- Niche Specialisation: One of the primary highlights of Happy Tortoise Habitat is its dedicated focus on tortoises. This specialisation means they are likely to have a deeper understanding of tortoise requirements and offer products tailored to these specific needs, which can be reassuring for owners seeking optimal care for their pets.

This natural material is often preferred by tortoise owners for its breathability, durability, and more aesthetically pleasing appearance compared to synthetic alternatives.
- Inclusion of Ceramic Lamp Holders: Some products, such as the tortoise tables, may include useful additions like ceramic lamp holders on an arm. This can be a convenient bonus for customers, as it provides a ready-made solution for installing essential lighting and heating elements for their tortoise's habitat.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The product was dispatched 2 weeks after the order was made. The product is ok. Lots of knocks and marks on the wood. Screws have been laid hastily and split the pine. I requested the legs be reduced in size and they have not been cut, despite being told they would do so.The ceramic lamp holder included on the arm was a nice bonus. Product works, and is one of the only large tables on the market that isn't laminated MDF.
February 13 · Reece EvansI made an order in August of 2024 for a duplex tortoise table and few accessories, it is for international delivery so I understand delay is normal, but not for more than 6 months! After confirming and paying for the order, you recieve a single email with details on the items you bought, but never again any update about tracking details, whether the order got shipped, nothing at all! There is no possible way to contact the seller except by directly calling or messaging the mentioned phone number, which is very inconvenient and costly for international calls. Few months passed since I made the order and the seller kept telling me that he will contact the shipping company, with no further update on the status of the parcel, after more than 3 months, he confirms that the shipment got lost and they are unable to deliver it, and that he will issue a refund that should reach me in about 14 working days, more than 2 months passed since then and the refund hasn't reached me to date, everytime I contact the seller he gives out very vague answers with no details or updates about the refund. Very bad experience, I regret making this purchase, please be careful if you are an international customer, I do not recommemd at all!
February 15 · Random SurferWhat don’t I recommend about Happy Tortoise Habitat? In case you can’t be asked reading I’ll just sum it up quickly:Illegal selling of tortoises without microchipping and paperworkDodgy electrics on tortoise tables with insufficient lighting for hatchlings and tortoises under a year oldNo care sheet provided for any breed soldWe bought a tortoise from Ken of Happy Tortoise Habitat and it has no microchip although we were assured it had one. We received no certification for the tortoise although it has been promised, repeatedly. This was November ‘24. Still no paperwork and it’s February ‘25.Having taken Tort to an expert tortoise reptile vet, it is unclear what breed he/she is, however fortunately so far, well and thriving. Vet has clearly stated there is no chip to be found. So what do I do now? I have been mis-sold a tortoise, and its habitat from Happy Tortoise Habitat? Sold as a Hermann but now could be anything. It’s a bit essential to know what your tortoise is because they grow quite large and you need space. Also different breeds enjoy different foods. It’s important to know what you’re receiving from the very beginning. All tortoises require certification and they are required to be chipped legally so make sure yours is.Happy Tortoise Habitat’s Tortoise table is not suitable as the wooden armature which holds the light gets incredibly hot - this needs to be on for twelve hours and it started to smell very strongly of burning electrics within two days. When checked by an electrician it turned out that the bulb was too strong for the ceramic holder, even though it was ceramic.Completely unacceptable. There’s also a total lack of communication for a business - customer service is very odd. Not replying to emails, stating I’d provided incorrect details. Red flags all over it. They offered to send a microchip scanner to me to detect a chip which is all very well however this seems to be such an odd thing to do. I should have known they were rubbish. But I had good faith. No refund offered.I would advise anyone not to buy from this company. Tortoise owning is expensive, but a purchase from this store will make it even more expensive. So I’d say, don’t bother. Go to a legitimate breeder who is going to offer you legal certification and a tortoise with provenance. You can find them easily, I now know, and I so wish I’d never even heard of Happy Tortoise Habitat.People are really crap about animals and reptiles when there’s a chance to make some money. Maybe this is not the case of Ken and his business and my tortoise is the one who got away but I am really feeling that I bought a tortoise from the equivalent of a puppy farm. 😔🐢
February 15 · Char CJust received my tortoise table, now I can't wait to get it set up with substrate and decorations for my tortoise to enjoy. The pictures don't do these tables justice. Beautifully made, and attention to detail is exceptional. It arrived 5 working days after delivery. It was well packaged and arrived in pristine condition. I would definitely recommend anyone to purchase from here. Owner was very polite and helpful when I telephoned. The price for this table was brilliant, you just couldn't make it yourself and it look as good for the price I paid. Thankyou happy tortoise habitat, I absolutely love it !
May 25 · Jay MurrayI bought a tortoise table and it is really nice quality and just what I needed. Especially the mesh cover to keep out little hands! The wood is really nice and the table is nice and deep. There were a couple of issues with the order but these were quickly resolved on speaking with Ken who was friendly and helpful. Thanks Ken.
