For cat owners across England, especially those residing in the picturesque county of Lincolnshire, securing a cattery that offers not just accommodation but genuine, compassionate, and high-quality care for their beloved feline companions is a paramount concern. Broadlands Cattery, nestled in the peaceful village of Searby, stands out as an exemplary establishment, proudly holding a 5-star rating from West Lindsey District Council (WLDC). This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of Broadlands Cattery, highlighting its superior facilities, dedicated staff, and why it is the ideal choice for local users in the United Kingdom seeking peace of mind for their cat's holiday.
Broadlands Cattery is truly designed with the cat's well-being at its heart. It's not merely a place for cats to stay; it's a meticulously cared-for environment where every detail contributes to a stress-free and enjoyable experience for feline guests. First impressions, as echoed by new clients, consistently highlight its quiet rural location, the spotless cleanliness of the premises, and the undeniable passion of the owners for cats. This immediately instils confidence in pet parents, knowing their precious "fur baby" will be in loving hands.
One of the most impressive features of Broadlands is the individualised accommodation provided. Each cat enjoys its own "private holiday home," complete with a cosy indoor room and an attached outdoor extension. This thoughtful design ensures that cats have the freedom to choose their environment – a warm, secluded indoor space for napping or a secure, sunny outdoor area for watching birds and enjoying fresh air. This flexibility is vital for maintaining a cat's comfort and stimulating their natural curiosity, preventing boredom and anxiety often associated with traditional boarding facilities.
What truly sets Broadlands Cattery apart is their exceptional dedication to individual needs, including specific medical requirements. A compelling testimonial highlights their readiness and ability to administer insulin injections for a diabetic cat, a critical service that many other catteries cannot provide. This level of professional and empathetic care, combined with the reassuring observation of cats being happy and relaxed upon collection, makes Broadlands Cattery a top-tier choice for discerning cat owners in Lincolnshire and beyond. It's a place where owners can truly relax on their own getaways, knowing their cat is not just looked after, but genuinely cared for.
Broadlands Cattery is located on Searby Wold Lane, Searby, Top DN38 6BL, UK. This address places the cattery in a beautifully tranquil, rural setting within Lincolnshire. The peaceful environment of Searby Wold Lane is a significant advantage for a cattery, as it helps to minimise external noise and disturbances, contributing to a calm and stress-free atmosphere for the feline guests.
Despite its rural charm, Broadlands Cattery is accessible for cat owners in the surrounding areas of Lincolnshire, including Market Rasen, Grimsby, and Humberside. We'd recently moved to the area and needed to find a new cattery, we did a google search and found Broadlands. Luckily, they had availability for our cat and so we dropped her off for a week and headed off on holiday.First impressions were that this was a lovely quiet location, the premises were well cared for and spotlessly clean, and the owners were obviously cat lovers. We were able to go with our cat to her private holiday home which had an indoor room with an outdoor extension. It meant that if she was chilly or wanted to be alone, she could sleep indoors, but if she wanted to enjoy the sunshine or watch the birds she could sit in the outdoor extension area. The entire unit was very secure and it had everything that she needed. We were really impressed! The best thing was seeing just how happy and relaxed our cat was when we picked her up at the end of the week. We've already booked her in for our next getaway and we know we can relax without worrying about her. This is an excellent cattery, and we have no hesitation recommending it.
Jun 29, 2025 · Jane RExcellent service from all the team at Broadlands. We booked at short notice as my cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and the cattery that I had her booked into wasn’t able to administer her insulin injections. As soon as I contacted Broadlands, Lisa was very friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions and luckily there was a space for her. As soon as I arrived to drop off my cat the staff were very welcoming and friendly and she settled in straight away. On collection we were told that she had been taking her meds and eating and drinking well. I would recommend Broadlands cattery to any cat owners in the area so you can relax and enjoy your holiday with the knowledge that your precious fur baby is being well looked after.
Jun 16, 2025 · Paula HarrisWonderful hidden haven for my cats holidays. My 2 cats were in a family pen, it was clean, and plenty of space, views over pond with ducks and geese and a peacock. Thank you broadlands for fitting me in at late notice. My cats come home happy.
Aug 23, 2024 · Sharron MiotkIt was our first time leaving our cat (he’s still a young boy) whilst we went away and couldn’t be happier knowing that he was in the best hands. We felt totally sure at all times that he was being well looked after. It’s like he had his own little holiday! Thank you very much Broadlands 😁

Really great communication, Jill was really excited to see my kittens and they were clearly loved and very well looked after.
