Catisfaction Cattery

The Paddocks, Low Heighley, Morpeth NE61 3BY, UK

4.0
Cats are kept in a little shed, no access to a catio, the place stinks. I stupidly left my cats there for 5 days, on the way home my male cat was extremely vocal, despite never making noise at home. Over the next few weeks he became really unwell, lost a drastic amount of weight, having seizure like symptoms, messing his bed, being really clingy and limping. This got worse and no amount of tests could tell us what was wrong. He had antibiotics and everything. Eventually he began to get better on his own, he is still very clumsy despite being an agile cat before his stay here. There is no way to prove this is due to staying here but based off of other people’s comments and the state of the cattery, the bad attitude of the lady who runs it and he disregard to basic requests, I am fairly confident when I say that she caused this. I would never recommend this cattery. - molliehannah

  • Flexibility for Stay Duration: They cater to stays ranging from a few days to several months.

However, it is important for potential customers to consider all available information, including customer feedback, when making a decision about their pet's care. Some past customer reviews suggest that the "luxury" aspect might not align with all expectations, with comments mentioning small sheds and a lack of catio access, as well as concerns about cleanliness and cat well-being upon collection. One review specifically noted issues with a cat becoming unwell after a stay, although direct causation could not be definitively proven. Another review mentioned kittens being "starving" after their stay despite the initial appearance of cleanliness. These individual experiences highlight the importance of personal visits and thorough assessment.
