- Website Opening Hours Accuracy Concerns: Several reviews directly address issues with the accuracy of opening times displayed on the Moorview Vets website (www.moorviewvets.co.uk) versus the actual branch operating hours. Customers have expressed frustration over discrepancies, leading to wasted journeys. This suggests a potential area where the practice could enhance its customer experience by ensuring digital information is consistently updated and aligned with physical operations.

This indicates a need for clear, consistent, and accurate communication channels.
- Concerns Regarding Transparency and Trust: One review raises strong concerns about the reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty of the practice, stating that they are 'only really for the money' and mentioning issues with a direct debit plan where services were paid for but reportedly not yet received. This feedback suggests areas where the practice might focus on improving transparency and building stronger trust with its clientele regarding financial matters and service delivery.
- Feedback Moderation Concerns: The final comment in one review, 'No doubt this feedback will be removed yet again as they only like good feedback,' indicates a perception among some customers that critical feedback may not be openly displayed or acknowledged by the practice. Moorview Vets Reviews
Why bother displaying your opening times on your website when they're never right?https://www.moorviewvets.co.uk/I turned up to the practice on Thursday 22nd August at 1pm and branch was closed with this sign! Branch is open till 5pm on Wednesday 21st when your website says 6pm? Which one's right? Drove over and wasted a whole load of petrol thanks!!Not impressed......It doesn't take much effort to keep your website up to date! Your customers are just frustrated otherwise!
Aug 22, 2024 · Christopher MillerUnreliable, untrustworthy and dishonest. They're only really for the money. Taken out a recommended direct debit plan for my dog but have not received any treatment yet, plenty of emails to say they had done it however verbal information. No doubt this feedback will be removed yet again as they only like good feedback.
Dec 29, 2022 · Tanya A CowenTreatment was excellent. The issue I have is the cost of medication. This visit, consultation cost £54. Recommended medication, I ask for a prescription. Was told that this would cost an additional £30! Or could pay £25 for them to supply. Later at home found that medication could be bought on-line for £4. Previous vets visit I could have saved £90 for two items if bought on line. Happy to pay for any consultation and treatment, but additional £30 for a prescription is ridiculous, plus the medication mark up of 400%? I will look to finding a vet with more reasonable pricing for medications.

May 14, 2025 · Ian ColquhounOur 16 year old Dachshund injured his back in Oct when we were on holiday, my 86 year old mother took him to Moorview Vets, thinking this was our vets as it is near to where we live. She was told to wait outside in her car until 9.15 with the dog, took him in, wanted authority there and then for a spinal operation, £7,000 cannot wait, get in touch with the owners. Fortunately my daughter was aware this happened during covid and he made a full recovery, took him to a Vets in Cramlington the next day, told to totally rest him, disc was not slipped. We are now 8 weeks later, our dog is fine, running around with no issues. Now you can excuse one occasion as accidental, but not 'TWICE'.A friend of ours have just told us today exactly the same thing has happened to their Dachshund, only 2 years old, Moorview suggested MRI and operation, £11000, my daughter informed them what happened to our Dachshund, another vet stating total rest rather than an operation 'Well yes that is another option' .I am unable to post without giving 1 star!I will leave this here, but its your choice.
