It is important for potential clients to note that while the provided information indicates a range of services, recent customer reviews highlight concerns regarding consistency of veterinary staff and communication about appointment types and associated costs. These points suggest that direct communication with the practice to confirm the nature and cost of specific appointments may be particularly beneficial for new or returning clients. Understanding their process for 'second opinions' or complex case consultations in advance would also be advisable.

Vets4Pets - Sunderland South Reviews
Terrible vets - Vet wont even look at the problems described. Just want to usher you out as quick as possible. You get different vets almost every time you go and they all make it up as they go along and contradict each other. In the process of finding a new vet.
Apr 25, 2025 · Clark BrettellAbsolutely livid with my visit to this vets this evening. Called to make an appointment basically seeking a second opinion about my cat. Explained my situation to the receptionist and was advised they'd get my pets history from my usual vet. Was told it would cost £48.50. Got there to be told she was booked in for a health check with no abnormalities present! I had told them she had suspected return of cancer and this was the whole purpose of my visit. I was then told a second opinion is £80 as it's an extended appointment. I dragged my 13 year old cat out in busy traffic, when she absolutely hates her carrier and is also possibly near her end of life so I want her time to be as stress free as possible. Absolutely fuming. The receptionist getting the blame but of course, she wasn't there and they'll have a chat with her when she's in again. Absolute farce. They'd even obtained her history from my usual vet to go through her notes to see what my vets have said, so they couldn't have misunderstood. My initial appointment at my regular vet took 5 minutes, we don't need a 30 minute appointment to have a look at something and see if you agree. Fuming beyond words. Why would I book in for a health check with no suspected issues when my 13 year old cat has suspected metastatic cancer, which I did state on the phone call that should have been recorded. Not professional at all. This second opinion was simply for my own peace of mind, not medically necessarily. If they'd told me in the first place it would be £80 I'd have paid it, but to wait til I was there and then tell me a second opinion was more money, even though it was in the notes that that was what I was after and they'd booked me in for a health check is inexcusable. Sounds like a ruse to me.
Nov 12, 2024 · Kayleigh NicholFabulous friendly staff and male vet was patient and friendly aswell as professional, especially as I have a quiet, nervous small rescue dog. Many thanks I have used this vets before with previous dogs and its great. Also plenty of parking out front close to vets, handy if like me you have to carry your small dog in. Grass bits fenced round carpark for toilet before and after vets for your dog. Also next door is greggs and Coop so handy to pop in either straight after or before vets while dog in car or in vets. Greggs there has tables and chairs outside if you need a cuppa while you wait for your pet or friends or a lift. Easy access to car park left off main dual carriageway type road for me and then on way back an easy up to roundabout and right turn to go back home. Thanks
Oct 03, 2023 · Beverly UnwinBrilliant vets! All of our pets are registered here. Always spot on!
May 30, 2025 · Wendy KerneySome of the reviews here are rather negative, and I feel sad to read of others' experiences. Fortunately, I've only had positive experiences at this Branch. Reception are always welcoming and informative (in person and via Telephone), the Vets are out of this world in providing care with compassion (I took a page out of their book, as I work in Health & Care for Humans). Prices are fair, especially when you opt for their Health Plan. Adding Mishti, my Calico cat, to the plan with Bruno my tabby (who weirdly enough loves his carrier and trips to the vets lol).
