Battle Flatts Veterinary Clinic - Strensall Reviews
Outstanding care from vet Hannah, and staff at both Stamford Bridge and Strensall branches for my cockatiel who is a chronic egg layer, would not use anyone else. Exceptional.
May 30, 2024 · Laura FoxShocking vets. Apart from the odd vet they only care about charging you the most they possibly can, not interested in your beloved pet. We were stung for thousands, lots of tests and still given the wrong diagnosis. Our beautiful boys died of lymphoma aged 7, not a fatty lump what they said it was. We found he had cancer when we decided to pay for a CT scan at swifts for a second opinion. There was no way we were taking our dog back to battle Flatt's to be put to sleep and cremated, we wasn't giving them a penny more. The greed and incompetence and lack of human sympathy of this vets has caused me and my family a great deal of heartache.
Jul 31, 2023 · Steve HopeExcellent customer service on multiple occasions. Hannah (one of the vets) took amazing care of me earlier in the week when saying goodbye to our bunny. Couldn't have asked for a more compassionate and caring person. Thank you x
Mar 09, 2023 · Faye WrightAn awful practice. Incompetent staff who fail to do the one job they're employed for, they have taken our healthy pet away from us who went in for a regular check up and due to their lack of care, incompetence and handling, our pet is now dead. We watched our pet suffer in front of our eyes due to their awful handling which was traumatizing. We went in with a healthy pet and came out with no pet. We are heartbroken, we will never forget our pet, we will never forget what you have done, we will never forgive you for what you have done.
Mar 22, 2022 · KajacettI received utterly unforgivingly shocking service and care from this vets. My golden retriever very nearly died in the hands of these people and I am still waiting for an apology, which I know will not come as they are quite clearly in it for the money and not for the care of the patient! In short, my dog was in for a routine castration and was given back to me in an unfit, unwell state. He had a huge (grapefruit size) swelling underneath him and could not stand when I collected him. I questioned the veterinary nurse saying that I did not think my dog was in a fit state to be released to which she said 'if the swelling gets any bigger then I would need an emergency vet which they don't have'. I asked 'what number do I ring for an emergency vet and she told me to google the number of Minster Vets'. I was utterly shocked that firstly my dog was given to me in an extremely poorly state and secondly this shoddy outfit does not even have an out of hours service for emergencies, I need to Google the number of a decent responsible vets called Minster Vets (which of course all of my 6 pets are now under). Not at all surprisingly, 3 hours later, my dogs swelling was the size of a melon filling with blood and looked about to burst. I rushed my dog to Minster Vets at Salisbury Road, York who re-operated on my poor dog and kept him for a further 2 days, which was utterly traumatic for both of us. The stress for my dog was immense and I am only now able to talk about the pain, heartache and stress that Battleflatts have caused me and my family. I spoke to the vet who performed the original castration at Battleflatts and she said that nothing went wrong.......quite clearly it went very wrong as Minster Vets had to re-operate and sort out your mess to save my dogs life! I also spoke to the Manager of Battleflatts Vets, who was the most heartless human I have ever dealt with in my life. In short, if you love and care for your pets as I do.......keep away from Battleflatts Vets!Minster Vets have proved to be amazingly supportive and caring and saved my adored dogs life! ❤
