Vets Now Preston

Longsight Rd, Clayton le Dale, Blackburn BB2 7JA, UK

4.0
Our kitten got rushed in with what we thought was heat stroke however it turned out to be a pulmonary edema and at only 6 months old nobody could understand why. After a night of treatment and oxygen he hadn’t improved and we were given the option to wait abit longer or put him to sleep. We didn’t want him to suffer anymore so we opted to put him to sleep so he wasn’t in pain anymore. The staff were amazing and allowed us time to be with him and say goodbye and they were also amazing with our disabled 4 year old even when he got upset and was shouting that he wanted him to come home. After he had gone to sleep we said our final goodbyes and the staff were so kind to do us a card, vial of fur and some paw prints and they had gently wrapped him in a blanket in his carrier for us to bring home to bury. The whole process was so gentle and we could see that the staff really cared… I am so greatful they allowed us to be with him in his final moments and he was so happy to see our little boy (his best friend) that he even tried to wave his tail like he always did at home.! Thankyou so much… sleep well and with no more pain, our beautiful boy COW…! 💔💙💔 - Emma Crowe
