Our dog Luna went to T&C for teeth clean and extraction. Due to her size, we had to go to Blackburn branch for surgery.5 days after procedure we noticed a red mark developing on her stomach. A trip to out of hours vets, they said it looked like a burn. Over the next few days it continued to get worse and eventually T&C said she'd need emergency surgery to remove the dead tissue. Luna had 3rd degree burns caused from either faulty equipment or staff error during surgery. At one point during the burn treatment Vets in Blackburn thought it was appropriate to staple a dressing to our dogs skin.T&C initially refused to accept liability for the burn, it was only after further testing requested by their insurers that they would accept fault.Thankfully after that they covered the bills but we never got more than apology for the suffering and stress they put Luna through. I would never use them or any surgery owned by the same corporate group again.Luna was 13 years old at the time, sadly we lost her within the year. I assume this ordeal wouldn't have helped. - Susan McCall
