Sep 09, 2024 · Rebecca LieghThe second time this vet has failed our dogs both resulting in them being put to sleep! The first we took our dog with a lump on his back leg only to be told it was harmless he later died of cancer on the rear end, then we took our other dog we seen a different vet at the same practice who sent our dog home with a anti sickness injection and antibiotics even though she didn’t have a temperature , 2 days later she was even worse so we took her to a different vet’s where we was told she had kidney failiure and diabetes she had a massive seizure and sadly had to have her put to sleep ! I called to speak the owners of spire vets about this and was told we couldn’t and had to put this forward in writing and we had no response from spire vets ! Seriously consider swapping vets as they have 2 deaths of their hands and they havnt even the decency to reply ! Please avoid this vets they need closing down !!!!!
Jun 16, 2025 · Kristian UmneySpire vets treated our Buzz when he started fitting and having seizures, unfortunately he passed away but the staff were fantastic, kind, considerate and very professional. And thank you for the card of condolence much appreciated. ❤️
Mar 24, 2025 · Bob HealeyI love this vets when Ian was there , but I’ve had two upsets alately , one was they nicked my dog when spayed which caused internal bleeding . My dog nearly died . But they did operate to put her right , which I thought yeh accidents happen . But the one upset me the most was when we was transferred our cat from here to greens vets for night care , when the receptionist couldn’t wait for us to pay our bill before we transferred our critical ill cat to greens . The compassion wasn’t there for me , n to be fair I’ve met this receptionist numerous times and her manor to people is not right for a vets , find her rude and intimidating . The vets rang us up coz we complained , there reply she was asking politely . Our cat was having seizures ! And needed to be put back on a drip ASAP . Disappointed
