From the moment we walked in the door with our very poorly dog shadow, the staff were amazing, he was an emergency sent from Dewsbury. We nearly lost him that day & were absolutely distraught, I couldn't have asked for better staff, they were all so caring & helpful. He ended up having emergency surgery that saved his life.Unfortunately we know now he has Cancer, but we have time to spend with him, time we wouldn't have got without the team here. So thank you for all you do!
Jul 08, 2025 · kat CarriganThe best vets ever. They really care about the pets. They saved my dog life, I'm so grateful. My dog was in a really bad condition, they've done an emergency surgery at weekend, saved her life. They are amazing, everyone is so nice, and so professional. Thank you so much animal trust.
Jul 08, 2025 · Andrea MihalikWant to say a huge thankyou to everyone who was involved with Autumns care. Unfortunately we did end up losing her.Liz, the feline lady, we out of her way and made time to explain treatments etc to me whilest out girl was there.Ben, reception, he is ever so kind and was ever so helpful. The vet nurse, who's name I didn't get, who was with us at the end was very sympathetic and handled my little girl gentle.Thankyou for your kindness and love ❤️I have attached some picture of our little girl before she became poorly.
Jun 14, 2025 · Katrina ArmstrongExcellent service, excellent price. You don't pay anything for consultation, just the treatment and medication. Emergency 24/7 treatment. Ticks all the boxes. Update: this treatment was on Saturday aft. On Monday we were told to go back for a dressing change. 1,he was NOT made an appointment. 2,he was never given any pain meds or antibiotics despite being charged for them!! 3,they then had the cheek to charge me £44 for a dressing change which they said would be free. I am appalled at the lack of communication and professionalism. I will never use the Barnsley branch again!!!!
Jul 09, 2025 · Paul BrunneyeTruly helpful , Lib on reception is amazing ! Helpful advice when I was panicking about an allergy reaction, fitted us in at the last minute. The vet was great and knew what to do. Also fair out of hours fee's unlike other vets. So glad we joined Animal Trust.Completely different approach to other well known vets, a caring attitude that puts the animals first not the extortionate prices. Only true vets like Animal Trust will help many animals because too many people can no longer afford vet care and that's the sad reality
