J Krumina Veterinary, like any healthcare provider, strives to meet the diverse needs of its clients and their pets, delivering professional attention and support through various stages of an animal's life.
Choosing a veterinary practice often comes down to trust, expertise, and convenience. For those in and around Spalding, J Krumina Veterinary aims to be a valuable resource, offering a range of services designed to keep pets healthy and happy. From routine check-ups to more urgent care needs, a local veterinary clinic serves as a vital pillar in the community, ensuring the well-being of its furry, feathered, and scaled residents. ---### Location and Accessibility
J Krumina Veterinary is conveniently located at 9 Cresswell Cl, Pinchbeck, Spalding PE11 3TY, UK. This address places the practice within the accessible confines of Pinchbeck, a village situated just north of Spalding town centre in Lincolnshire. For residents of Spalding and the surrounding smaller communities, this location offers straightforward access, avoiding the need for extensive travel into larger urban centres for veterinary care.
The practice's placement in Cresswell Close, a more residential or semi-commercial area, suggests a potentially calmer environment compared to a bustling high street, which can be beneficial for pets who might be anxious about vet visits. Accessibility by car is likely good, with the potential for on-site or nearby parking, a crucial factor for pet owners transporting animals, especially those who are ill or injured. Public transport options would depend on local bus routes servicing Pinchbeck from Spalding and other nearby villages. However, for most pet owners, driving remains the most practical means of transport for veterinary appointments.
Being situated in Pinchbeck means J Krumina Veterinary serves not only the immediate local population but also those in the wider Spalding district. This central-ish location within the local area makes it a viable choice for routine appointments as well as for those unexpected urgent care needs. Proximity to main road networks in the area would further enhance its accessibility for residents commuting from slightly further afield within the South Holland district of Lincolnshire.
---### Services Offered
J Krumina Veterinary is expected to offer a comprehensive range of services typical of a modern small animal veterinary practice, catering to the diverse health needs of pets. While specific detailed service lists are not always publicly available without direct inquiry, based on the nature of general veterinary clinics, the following services would generally be provided:
Routine Health Examinations and Vaccinations: Regular check-ups are crucial for preventative care, allowing vets to monitor overall health, detect potential issues early, and administer necessary vaccinations against common pet diseases like distemper, parvovirus, and rabies.
Parasite Control: Advice and treatments for fleas, ticks, worms, and other internal and external parasites are essential for pet health and preventing infestations in the home environment.
Microchipping: A legal requirement for dogs in the UK and highly recommended for cats, microchipping provides permanent identification, significantly increasing the chances of reunification should a pet become lost.
Nutritional Advice: Guidance on appropriate diets for pets of all ages, breeds, and health conditions, addressing obesity, allergies, and specific dietary needs.
Dental Care: Routine dental check-ups, cleaning, and extractions are vital for maintaining good oral hygiene, which directly impacts a pet’s overall health and well-being.
General Surgery: Common surgical procedures such as neutering (spaying and castration), lump removals, and minor soft tissue surgeries. Practices may also perform emergency surgeries when necessary.
Diagnostic Services: Utilisation of in-house diagnostic tools like blood tests, urine analysis, and potentially imaging (X-rays, ultrasound) to accurately diagnose illnesses and injuries.
Pet Passports and Travel Advice: Assistance with preparing pets for international travel, including necessary vaccinations, treatments, and documentation for pet passports.
Senior Pet Care: Specialised health plans and monitoring for older pets, focusing on managing age-related conditions like arthritis, organ dysfunction, and cognitive decline.
Euthanasia Services and Bereavement Support: Providing compassionate end-of-life care for pets and offering support and guidance to grieving owners during a difficult time.
These services represent the core offerings of a dedicated veterinary practice, aiming to cover the majority of a pet's health requirements from puppy/kittenhood through to their senior years.
---### Features / Highlights
When considering a veterinary practice, certain features and highlights can distinguish one from another, offering pet owners specific benefits or reassurances. Based on the nature of local veterinary services and available public feedback, here are some potential features and highlights of J Krumina Veterinary:
Local and Community-Oriented Focus: Being a smaller, independent practice in Pinchbeck, J Krumina Veterinary likely fosters a strong sense of community connection. This can translate into personalised care, where staff get to know pets and their owners individually, offering a more familiar and less clinical experience than larger corporate chains.
Compassionate and Empathetic Approach: Feedback, even when mixed, often highlights the emotional aspect of veterinary care. A practice that excels in compassion, particularly during difficult times like end-of-life care, demonstrates a deep understanding of the human-animal bond. One review specifically praises the "compassion and care that all staff showed me and my little dog Poppy" during a very sad day, emphasising how they "could not have handled it any better" and ensured the pet's "last breath was peaceful." This suggests a strong emphasis on empathy and gentle handling, which is crucial for both pets and their owners.
Dedicated Professional Staff: The commitment of veterinary professionals is paramount. While some experiences may vary, the positive feedback points towards a team that is dedicated to providing care and support. A professional team ensures that medical procedures are carried out with competence and that client communications are handled with respect and clarity.
Accessible Location for Local Residents: Its address in Pinchbeck makes it highly convenient for pet owners residing in Spalding, Pinchbeck, and surrounding villages. This local accessibility reduces travel time and stress for pets, especially those who are unwell or anxious about car journeys.
Focus on Individualised Pet Needs: A smaller practice often has the capacity to offer more tailored attention to each animal. This can mean more thorough examinations, detailed discussions about treatment options, and a focus on preventative strategies specific to an individual pet’s breed, age, and lifestyle.
These highlights suggest that J Krumina Veterinary strives to offer a caring and professional environment for pets, prioritising their comfort and the peace of mind of their owners, especially during challenging moments.

J Krumina Veterinary Reviews
I would have gave zero starts but unfortunately I can’t . I went and took my dog for a check up as he had something in his paw pad and was told it was as a growth and it turned out to be just seed pod that was tangled in his hair which came away eventually when I washed him . Also on the same appointment was told that my dog had a heart murmur and was given medication for the heart and cream for the paw totalling £140 ,I did return to show the vet that it was only a seed pod and she just shrugged her shoulders and that was that ! I have since changed vets and got a second opinion regarding his heart “murmur “ and was told that their was absolutely nothing wrong with my dogs heart ! BE WARY ,as they seem to be prescribing medication for absolutely no reason and not needed!
