Rase Veterinary Centre - Lincoln Newark Road Reviews
Never had an issue with the vets themselves, they’re always friendly and willing to talk through things & give good advice during appointments. However, (a select few!) of the reception team are honestly some of the most miserable people I’ve ever met. 9 times out of 10 I walk away from these interactions feeling really down & frustrated because no matter what you need from them, they still speak to you like dirt. They’re also totally unable to use their own initiative. My two dogs are due worm and flea treatment (the vet has text to remind us this week) and when I’ve rung up; the person on the phone has just repeatedly said they can’t dispense anymore until August. No matter how I’ve explained it, I’m getting the same sentence repeated back to me in a patronising tone. Either way my dogs are going without the crucial treatment they need here & I’m having to find it elsewhere - even though I pay for a monthly subscription. I never write reviews but please for your own sake, save yourself the turmoil of dealing with these people at all. I cannot wait to take my dogs out of there and sign them up elsewhere, purely so I don’t have to encounter the absolute mean girls on that desk again.
Jul 10, 2025 · Nikita WilliamsWe found Berkan through a friend’s recommendation at a very difficult time. From the first moment, he welcomed us warmly and made us feel safe. He quickly identified the issue, confirmed it with tests, and reassured us with the right guidance. Thanks to his advice, our cat’s fur started growing back, and he seemed much happier. Even after the diagnosis, he kept checking in on us and never left us alone in the process. We are so grateful to have met Berkan!! He is the best..

Jul 08, 2025 · chris butlerWhat a wonderful vets. We unfortunately had to have our cat put to sleep. Not a pleasant experience, but all the staff were very compassionate. We couldn’t have been better treated. Our vet was concerned for us and our safety home. First class service.
Apr 24, 2025 · Tony HarwoodFirst visit today after switching one of my cats here to try them out. I did this as in February I was charged £75 for a booster for my other cat at a different vets in North Hykeham that I've used since living in the area. The vet at Rase on Newark Road was polite and friendly, carried out all the same checks my other cat had received, and gave her booster, with a total price of £33. I was definitely happy to save some money, and would be happy to use this vet again if their prices remain competitive.
