Nutravet Introduce
For pet owners across England, ensuring the optimal health and well-being of our beloved dogs, cats, and horses is a top priority. Beyond routine veterinary visits, many owners seek additional support for their animals' health, particularly through high-quality supplements. This article introduces you to Nutravet, an innovative British veterinary company based in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, dedicated to developing and supplying veterinary-strength, natural healthcare products designed to aid and support an animal's overall well-being.
Nutravet (UK) Ltd focuses on providing a range of nutraceuticals – nutritional supplements with pharmaceutical-grade quality – that are formulated to complement veterinary care. Their dedication to creating effective products is why thousands of veterinary professionals reportedly recommend their range daily. Whether it's to support joint health and mobility, reduce stress and anxiety, or aid in recovery from surgery, Nutravet aims to offer natural solutions. They pride themselves on using scientifically formulated, ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients, with a strong emphasis on purity and environmental responsibility. This commitment makes Nutravet a key player in the pet health industry, providing valuable options for pet owners seeking to enhance their animals' quality of life.
Nutravet is based at The Warehouse, Shard Ln, Hambleton, Poulton-le-Fylde FY6 9BX, UK. Hambleton is a village situated near Poulton-le-Fylde, within the picturesque county of Lancashire. While Nutravet primarily operates as a wholesaler and distributor, supplying its products exclusively through veterinary practices rather than direct to the public from this address, understanding its base of operations can be useful for local stockists or for those interested in the company's origins.
Shard Lane in Hambleton offers a relatively rural and accessible location for their warehouse facilities. For veterinary practices and distributors, this location is connected via local road networks, making it feasible for logistics and supply chain operations. As a company that distributes its products across the UK and Ireland through authorised veterinary stockists, its physical address serves as the central hub for its operations rather than a public-facing retail outlet. This means that while pet owners won't typically visit this address to purchase products, it is the home of the company that develops the supplements recommended by many vets in the region and beyond.
While Nutravet is not a direct-to-consumer pharmacy in the traditional sense, they offer services primarily to veterinary practices, which then supply products to pet owners. Their core 'services' revolve around the development, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality animal health supplements. These include:
- Development of Veterinary-Strength Nutraceuticals: Focusing on scientifically formulated, natural healthcare products for dogs, cats, and horses, designed to support various health needs.
- Manufacturing to Pharmaceutical Grade Standards: All products are made from natural ingredients and manufactured to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, with testing at raw material and final product stages to guarantee purity and label claims.

For pet owners across England, particularly those in the Lancashire region, Nutravet serves as a foundational component in providing high-quality, natural health supplements for their animals. While not a direct-to-public pharmacy, their commitment to supplying veterinary-strength nutraceuticals exclusively through local veterinary practices means that residents can access these premium products with the professional guidance and oversight of their trusted vet.
The suitability of Nutravet for locals lies in several key factors. Firstly, their emphasis on pharmaceutical-grade, scientifically formulated products made from ethically sourced natural ingredients provides reassurance that pets are receiving high-quality support. Testimonials, including those from veterinary professionals, frequently highlight the positive impact their products, such as Nutraquin+, have had on animal mobility and well-being. Knowing that your local vet recommends and stocks Nutravet products means you're benefiting from a supply chain committed to quality and expert advice.
Secondly, Nutravet's strong environmental ethos, demonstrated through their use of recycled packaging and sustainable practices, aligns with the values of many conscientious pet owners in the UK. This commitment extends beyond product efficacy to responsible corporate citizenship. While one negative review expressed disappointment with a specific product's effectiveness for their dog, numerous other positive testimonials from both pet owners and veterinary professionals suggest that many animals do experience significant benefits from Nutravet's range. This highlights that, like any supplement, individual responses can vary, but the overall feedback is strongly positive.
Therefore, for local pet owners seeking reliable, high-quality natural supplements recommended by veterinary professionals, Nutravet represents a suitable choice via their local vet. It offers peace of mind through its commitment to quality, scientific backing, and ethical production, ultimately contributing to the improved health and vitality of pets across the region.

Nov 01, 2023 · Trudie KiddWe treat our elderly golden retriever with Nutraquin Omega +. Over two years ago he couldn't stand or sit down due to arthritis in his rear hips. However, within a short period of using this product, he was able to do both and this has remained stable since. He is 15 years old this month. We are obviously very happy with this product and would highly recommend it.- Pauline Casey
May 01, 2023 · Leanne CaseySeem to have good products as long as your dog doesn't live in Northern Ireland as they can't ship to NI !!!They can ship to vets in NI, somehow, but the vets don't have any in stock!
Oct 20, 2023 · GEORGE LAWSONI've been buying Nurtamind for my 14 year old dog with CCD. He was soiling regularly in the house but since using this now rarely does! They do take a couple weeks to start working and until you really notice a difference.I did actually stop using them for a few weeks to see if they were actually making a difference or it was coincidence. He went back to soiling in the house after being off the tablets for a week or so.I want stop using them for him no, these tablets have benefitted him and us so much
