Harrison Family Vets, Middleton Reviews
This weekend we rescued a 7 week old kitten, the mum was a stray cat and unfortunately she rejected the whole litter and ran away after giving birth, meaning the kittens had to be bottle fed. I was a little nervous when we got her so immediately registered her with Harrison Family Vets. I called reception and explained her story, and they were able to get us an appointment the same day. Everyone was really friendly, and once Lola (our kitten) felt comfortable they were fussing over her, which she loved. The vet we saw was fantastic and really friendly, they did a full health check on the visit which eased our minds. We mentioned we have a toddler and she might need to come to the next appointment with us. He was very encouraging of this which is really helpful when you don't have childcare. He even gave us a sticker to take home for her that day.We signed up to the monthly 'total wellness plan' which covers the majority of services. I researched loads of vets in the area and the price for this is great in comparison. I'm sorry I didn't catch names, but we were helped by a few people and everyone was fantastic, you can tell they all clearly love animals and they made Lola feel comfortable and at ease. I would recommend this vets.

Gave my dog a lot of attention which she loved.Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend to all my family and friends. So grateful for the same day appointment and treatment. With love,Brandy and Kirsty
Jan 15, 2025 · Kirsty BatesWouldn’t use any other vet for my dog. Not only to they ensure to take the time to allow her to come round but they’ve taken the time to get to know her as a patient rather than just a number. Very reliable and affordable
Feb 25, 2025 · Jessica SmithI honestly cannot thank Harrison Family Vets enough for the incredible care they’ve shown to my rescue dogs from the very first appointment.Walking into a new vet with rescue dogs—especially those who’ve had difficult pasts—is never easy. But from the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel welcome, safe, and truly cared for. The receptionists were kind and understanding, and the atmosphere was calm and reassuring, which made all the difference not just for me but for my dogs, too.Our vet was amazing—patient, gentle, and compassionate—taking the time to understand my dogs’ history and treat them with the empathy they deserve. It was such a relief to finally find a vet who sees beyond the surface and treats animals with respect and genuine care, rather than fear or impatience.I feel incredibly lucky to have found Harrison’s. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing my dogs the kindness and care they’ve always deserved. You’ve gained two loyal clients for life.Persa & Xo
Jun 08, 2025 · Katerina KonomiOverall our experience has been generally good. We had a couple of issues with Chris when we first went where we felt he wasn’t patient enough and so this put us off but we have since seen him again and it was significantly better. I would see him again.Gerard is absolutely incredible! He is so patient, reassuring and gives such a calmness that makes us feel less stressed! We have a reactive dog and he has had to review her at least four times to be able to examine her but every time he has been so patient and not once seemed fed up of her. We are so grateful for him!The reception staff are lovely, Claire always gives our dogs so much care! She is the only one that has ever got close enough to be able to give my reactive dog a treat. Zoe always greets our dogs with so much excitement and they love it. Amy has give some attention to the dogs which they love however, sometimes seems very distracted and in a rush. The phone manner hasn’t been the best before and sometimes Amy has been very reluctant to ask the vet for advice when we have called and instead jumps to the fact there are no appointments and that’s the end of it.The only downside as a whole is that we never once have been seen on time for an appointment. We have waited between 10-25 minutes after our appointment every time which I know cannot be helped but it makes our reactive dog 10x worse when we stand and wait outside for her appointment as we can’t come in until we are seen.
