★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Always good with our dogs. Last one made 17.5, current terrier 13.5 and like a puppy but going deaf!! Always kind, helpful and reassuring. Graham had a quick look at our dogs ears and didn’t charge us . Great service!!
June 23 · Nigel SmithAbsolutely brilliant service at Forest House Vets. I dealt with Graham who was professional, honest and really reassuring. He didn’t push unnecessary meds and gave me clear advice on how to keep my dog comfortable. You can tell he genuinely cares. 5 stars from me! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
June 09 · Ricky MerrettThanks to Graham for getting to us quickly to see our cow who was in labour with a twisted calf which seemed impossible to put right. A very professional and speedy caesarean performed while keeping our spirits high during a tough morning.Cow and calf both in great shape.Always a pleasure to work with.
February 12 · dean fretwellThe vet Graham spent a good half hour explaining very clearly to me dog allergies and the impact on her skin. Also re treatments and why they would work or not. This was amazingly free very kind So really appreciated this. Thanks.
July 15 · Adrian FrenchMy experience of this vet surgery was not good at all. I should add that I have had dogs all my life and been to many vets over the years in the UK and abroad to compare with. There are a lot of things that led me to change vets but the statement 'sorry, we won't vaccinate a dog against their will' with no solution offered to a family with 3 kids and a clear need to ensure their pets are fully vaccinated, was the last straw. No techniques it appears from the vets on handling nervous dogs...I've seen many over the years. A clear annoyance at dogs who 'make a mess' when they're upset in the consultation room by one vet 😡 and astoundingly bad interpersonal skills from another. The nurses are helpful and friendly, nothing bad to say there. Ultimately, the worst vetinary service I've encountered in 20+ years. We took our dog to Oakdale vets in Harrogate to be vaccinated the following month and they used a distraction technique (in a soft hold position using a towel) and had it done inside 10 minutes.
