Vets4Pets - Harrogate Reviews
I cannot rate or recommend this practice enough. Their care, attention & support to not only the pets, but their owners is second to none. After my 1yr old pup took a turn for the worst during a routine spaying, they could not have done more to save her and make sure she was ok. After suspecting the complication was due to an unknown issue with her heart, they ensured she was seen by the specialist that day.I received a call from Leigh-Anne who calmly talked me through what had happened, and the action taken, while taking the time to ensure I was also ok. I received a picture update while my pup came round to ease my anxiety and had a further call from the Cardiologist once she had completed her exam. Leigh-Anne greeted me when I arrived to collect her, provided a further update and again checked myself & my daughter were ok.This all happened just yesterday and early this morning I received a further phone call to see how my pup had managed through the night. We have a further appointment booked in to see the specialist next week, but I could not feel more supported if I needed anything in the meantime. Thanks to their additional safety measures when operating, I have my beautiful girl home with me. I am incredibly grateful to the whole team and although we ended on a high, the stress of yesterday was not just mine, but theirs too and I am forever in their debt. You do amazing work and thank you again from the bottom of me heart!

Jun 11, 2025 · Charlie LovattThe staff are so friendly and genuinely care about your pet.
Feb 15, 2025 · Cath DownThe staff are simply lovely, from receptionist, nurse to the vet. Lucy is superb, she truly loves animals and that is apparent. I left my cat knowing he would be well looked after. They just put my mind at easy. Definitely couldn't recommend your practice enough.
Mar 29, 2023 · Yvonne KozacekHugely disappointed. Took my cocker spaniel to them months ago, I was told I had two options…1 a ridiculously expensive operation which a 13 year old dog had little chance of survival of or leave him on steroids. Fast forward several months a different vet once again at the same surgery gives him a simple treatment which immediately has an effect. So my dogs been in pain for months because you know anted the big money!I then get told to come back and talk about his heart the week after. Which I did and get charged for but get told by yet another vet there is as no need to do this… thanks for coming in that’s £45 please. So essentially this surgery let my poor old dog suffer for months unnecessarily and then have theAudacity to charge me for an 8 minute appointment to be told I didn’t need to come in and come back in four weeks. The practise managers response to my email of complaint was as if she hadn’t even read the notes or my complaint before telling me they are in the right and I’m wrong! Good bye to vets4pets! Stick local!
