Crooks Veterinary Surgeons Reviews
Paid allot of money to have my dog fixed and was told a date for my operation. The operation was not done for 7 days after causing my dog to have the same issues and me being down by almost 200 pound. I would not recommend going as they don't care about the dogs as she lied to us and caused the dog to have another issue by not having the operation. If you love your dog I wouldn't bring them anywhere near. Disgusting that they are a private vets.
Jun 05, 2025 · Brandon CoxI would like to thanks Crooks Vets for their care, patience and support they provided to my family and my beloved dog, Nala. We had to take the difficult decision to put Nala to sleep after she became very unwell, very quickly. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do to save her and we had to say goodbye that day. The vet herself was incredible, as well as the nurses and the reception staff. I’m at peace that she was surrounded by love and care when she fell asleep. I can’t thank you enough. Thank you for the lovely card too. xx

Aug 12, 2024 · Phil AllenBrought my cat in who was suffering with Cystitis, went through 2 appointments each costing me £80, £50 for the 3 minutes the vet spent with my cat and £30 for medication that costs literally £6 online.Cat diagnosed with a lifelong condition on second appointment pending a urine test that cost me a further £50, called up the vet today asking for a repeat of the medication required for a cat suffering with this condition diagnosed by one of their vets, only to be told they’d need me to come in and pay another £50 just to have a vet confirm she needs it, and then £20 for the prescription. The staff are nice, I’ve never had an issue with them but I think the way this place is being managed just trying to gouge distressed pet owners for as much as they can.Awaiting a call back from the practice manager to discuss what can be done as I’m clearly not happy about the fact I’ve paid nearly £300 for LITERALLY no more than 15 minutes with a vet across 2 appointments only to be told a further appointment is required to repeat the prescribed medication as the previous vet (who conveniently no longer works here) apparently didn’t bother marking down the prescription despite telling me she had
