★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1DISGUSTING. This is how I found the meat!! Don’t know what is worse the driver leaving my delivery out in a heatwave or the inexcusable lack of information shared by Durham Animal Feeds regarding delivery notes and guidance to where parcels are left. They are now refusing any responsibility for their careless and unthought out actions.
July 18 · Nisha StephensonI went for the first time this week. Explained to the nice gentlemen the issues I had had feeding one of my dogs. He worked out what she needed amount wise and I bought some samples. My dogs picky eating habits went instantly, she absolutely loves the raw food and there is a noticeable change in her mood and energy and she has stopped eating grass. So pleased and I will be moving my other dog over to this food imminently. Also as a price comparison it was significantly cheaper than the online company I was using.
June 27 · Nathan AndersonAbsolutely horrendous company DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! First time ordering, spent £80 on frozen meat for my dogs and it was delivered in 32 degrees heat in an impossible location to find with no information of where it had been left, no delivery note, no picture of where it had been left, nothing!! Apparently, we as loyal customers are expected to go on a wild goose chase knocking on neighbours doors and looking in between parked cars to find our parcels. Let's just say the customer service has been nothing far from SHOCKING and Durham Animal Feeds have refused any responsibility. Now I am left with a despicable job of disposing of rotten meat as a result of the delivery driver's careless choices to leave it in the sun not to mention the company's ridiculous policy of not offering delivery notes. Appalling treatment .
July 14 · Nisha StephensonThoroughly recommend Durham Animal Feeds, since I switched to raw feeding a few years ago, my labrador is absolutely thriving and loves it. Best thing I have done for her, the service delivery and quality of the food thoroughly deserves a five star rating.
July 15 · Trevor WhaleyReview is based off of one product, I have not tried any other DAF raw product.I moved my puppy to ‘DAF Freeflow Turkey Mince - MEAT ONLY’ and I will not be buying this again. Poos have gone really white and crumby, no matter how much fibre I add to the food they still come out really white and chalky. The product is not a mince, it’s a watery almost puree, not even close to a mince. It comes in awkward packaging that you need to move to a separate container for proper storage.I’ve heard awful reviews for DAF bone raw, so will be avoiding DAF raw products all together now.On the positive side, they have a good range of supplement and skin/coat care products, the Heighington shop is clean and well set out. Guy on the till was friendly and got us served quickly. You get what you pay for, there’s a reason DAF is cheaper than other raw food brands.I’ll stick to The Dogs Butcher for my raw products and will buy any supplements or treats from DAF.
