General Examinations and Treatment: We provide thorough general examinations and treatment for a wide range of equine conditions, addressing immediate health concerns and offering advice on overall well-being.
Preventative Health Programmes: This includes routine check-ups, comprehensive vaccination programmes (such as primary courses and subsequent boosters for equine influenza and tetanus), and worming advice tailored to individual needs.
Equine Dentistry: Our vets regularly perform oral examinations, rasping, and wolf teeth removal. We also work closely with qualified Equine Dental Technicians (EDT) for non-invasive procedures, adhering to BEVA guidelines for optimal dental care.

Advanced Diagnostics: Utilising mobile digital radiographic equipment daily, we can take X-rays at your yard. We also offer ultrasonography for various conditions. For advanced imaging like MRI, CT, and Nuclear Scintigraphy, we have an excellent working relationship with specialist referral centres such as Rossdales in Newmarket.
Medical Investigations: This covers a full range of blood tests (complete blood count, biochemistry, strangles testing, Cushings testing, viral screening), and other diagnostics required to investigate internal medicine cases. We also offer advice on feeding and diets for specific conditions like laminitis, Cushings Syndrome, and equine metabolic syndrome.
Routine Field Surgery: We perform routine field surgeries, such as castrations, directly at your premises, ensuring convenience and minimising stress for your horse.

May 11, 2017 · Carrie EmmersonOnly been with this vet a short while but love their flexibility. They appear to be really proactive and unpatronising unlike a number of local practices. Their prices are fair and transparent too.
Oct 09, 2023 · Gaynor PickardIf I could give 0 stars I would! Avoid at all costs! Absolutely appalled by Yorkshire Equine Practice used them on a number of occasions but today they were called to our pony in an emergency for us to be given a time that they would be here then they called 20 minutes later told us to give him some bute, then 20 minutes later called us back to say they weren’t coming because he’s not been poorly in the last two years they refused to come!!So unless your horse is poorly every year AVOID THESE PEOPLEMade such a hard day even worse!!!R.I.P our precious boy 💔🌈I recommend using ridings equine vets they arrived within 15 minutes of phoning them!
