Vets4Pets South Shields Quays Reviews
Reception staff could not have been more unhelpful if they tried when I queried puppy registering. Didn't explain the health care plan until I asked, didn't mention they do not offer free first 4 week insurance until I questioned this - it seems standard in other Vets for pets surgeries. Then they said they can only register me once seen by the vet but didn't have an appointment in almost a month. On top of that, they were just judgemental and everything I asked was a difficulty to explain or offer assistance in any way. Complete opposite from staff at Vets for pets on Prince Edwards street who were more than ready to explain how everything works and offer assistance.

Jun 16, 2025 · alison kingAll the staff were amazing.Last minute appointment as my dog unwell. Seen straight away by a lovely vet. Supported us with the horrendous decision to say goodbye to my dog. Gave us as much time as we needed even though their booked work piled up.That evening a beautiful sympathy card was hand delivered with nose and paw prints inside plus a little packet of daisy seeds to plant.Would recommend this practice and will continue to use with my other dog
Sep 05, 2024 · Christine PattisonExisting customer at Vets for pets at Roker but could not transfer as they are short of vets I could appreciate turning new business away but not existing customers with very little empathy very poor customer service.
Feb 20, 2025 · Paul HutchinsonWe would like to Thank the Vet and Nurse Michelle who helped us and more importantly our dog Lara, for everything you both did.Whilst visiting our friend in Jarrow, our eldest German Shepherd (11yrs) took a turn for the worse. She had stage 2 cancer, a full mastectomy surgery 31st Jan this year, which she recovered fast from. Our vet Jon, (Companion Care Scarborough) said she had healing powers, Lara was a strong, wise dog and loved by many. Sadly from the early hours of Monday morning to yesterday afternoon (Tues 19th June), were the long hardest 2 days. Lara's backend had completely gone. We couldn't get back home, there was no way she could travel. We rang Vets4Pets, explained what had happened and we knew before we rang that there was nothing anyone could do. They rang our vets to get her records and inform them as to what was happening. By 3.30pm we said Goodbye to our Beautiful Lara. As many pet owners know, you always want your dog to have dignity and privacy, Lara had that and so did we. They made us feel at ease at such a very heartbreaking time. The ironic thing is we rescued Lara when she was about 16-18mths old and we knew she was born in Newcastle.Thank you againMr and Mrs Marshall
