Apr 21, 2025 · LainaI wouldn’t come back here after the issues I’ve had. A nurse who is super insensitive about a passing of an animal. Manager who said she sort it and forgot to close the message down which resulted in further trauma from the message system. I’ve moved all my animals from here and to the one inside pets at home because of the sheer trauma and emotionless staff ( not all of them but the one I experienced has no emotions or understand how sensitive things are and sheer lack of empathy )
May 07, 2025 · Fallyn FoxOnly used these as my dog needed his second vaccination by today and they could fit him in. Still very expensive but the receptionists were very welcoming and friendly. The vet was very pleasant and knowledgeable and delivered the jab as one would expect. They all loved my new puppy, as everyone who meets him does.
Oct 26, 2024 · Michael NeilsonFinding out on my arrival that my dogs couldn't come into the surgery and may end up being put down by an inexperienced staff member. Not only left 1 of my dogs further traumatized as well as myself. I felt upset with few answers to questions i had
Mar 30, 2025 · Sarah JUpdate 2 - finally get a response - quoting relavant parts. Below of them trying to defend thier decision not issue the 5.4 tablets 🤦♀️"Giving half a 5.4mg (2.7mg) tablet on a morning which is only enough for a 5.9kg dog will not get the required amount of the active ingredient into her system in order to have an effect, by the time you are giving the other half on an evening, the levels from the 1st tablet have already dropped again so again, you aren't reaching the necessary dose to work"...As we have tried giving her one 3.6mg and then half of a 3.6mg tablet which is 5.4mg total she is fine, its clear to us that she is fine with 5.4mg total. So a solution following their own parameters of making sure she gets at least a 3.6mg dose in the morning its called issuing the 5.4mg, her getting 3/4 of a tablet which would be 4.05mg in morning and the remaing quarter at dinner/tea time. The more they try and defend not issuing the 5.4mg so we dont pay double the price indicating it really is money driven 🤦♀️.In future we will be registering with a second vet practice, and only bringing them here for their vacs for life boosters. For anyone who thinks I'm being harsh or unreasonable on this matter, I will be writing another review about my other dogs treatmet here which lead to her unnecessary death. If I can help prevent another going through what she did in the end? It will be worth it.*Update 1*Email sent bounces back* this really is poor service. Can you supply an email which does work please 🤦♀️Previous complaintTerrible service, initally given a precription on 3.6mg x2 a day of Apoquel then made to drop down to 1 tablet a day. However, our dogs itching on a night time started again. So when took her back today told them about the reapeat itching.Vet Aisha, advised that for her weight etc she should only be having the 3.6mg, but with her itching on a night so still reluctantly gave 6 month prescription of 2 x 3.6 tablets a day. However, we wrang them back up and said could we please have the 5.4mg tablets instead, that way they can be snapped in half one morning and night. They even have a line on the tabelts for this purpose. This way its not the full dose of 7.2 mg only 5.4mg which is exactly 1.5 of the 3.6 tablets. (As she is only a small dog this would be preferable)Plus 3.6mg twice a day would be literally double price of 1 tablet 5.4 tablet. From pet drugs online they would be3.6mg x 2 97p per tablet for 6 months = £349.2Or 5.4mg x 1 97p per tablet for 6 months = £174.6Vets for pets rang back and refused this, so clearly they want us paying double 🤬Its not suprising as Vets4pets charged £20.30 just for 14 tablets today. So they are clearly making 50p + profit per tablet. This is sheer greed. Plus extra for the prescrition note, the follow appointment etc.Feel free to ring back and fix this error in judgement 🤦♀️
