Tweed House Vets is a well-established veterinary surgery that has been serving the communities of North-West Leeds and the surrounding areas for many years. Originally expanding from their Yeadon branch, the Pudsey surgery has grown into a busy practice, backed by full hospitalisation and surgical facilities at their Yeadon site. Their mission is to provide comprehensive small animal veterinary care, focusing on continuous improvement through reinvestment in new services, technologies, and staff education. This dedication ensures that they can consistently offer the best possible service to the community, helping pets live healthier, happier lives. The glowing reviews from local clients, highlighting their empathetic approach during difficult times and consistent high-quality care, truly speak volumes about their commitment.
Tweed House Vets is conveniently located at 78 Lowtown, Pudsey LS28 7AA, UK. This central position in Pudsey makes it highly accessible for residents within the town and those commuting from neighbouring areas within West Yorkshire. Lowtown is a key road in Pudsey, ensuring the clinic is easy to find, whether you are travelling by car or utilising local public transport options.
One of the significant advantages of the Pudsey location is the ample parking available. The practice notes that there is a large car park located directly behind the surgery. This convenience is a considerable benefit for pet owners, especially when transporting pets who may be unwell or anxious, or for those with limited mobility. The ease of parking removes a common stressor associated with veterinary visits, allowing pet owners to focus entirely on their companion's care.
For those relying on public transport, Pudsey is well-served by local bus routes that connect it to various parts of Leeds and surrounding towns. Many bus services operate along or near Lowtown, making Tweed House Vets a practical option even without private transport. Tweed House Vets Reviews
Such a great veterinarian. Changed from V4P to here as prices with the prior were starting to get incredibly high, went here after a suggestion and major praise from my mum. They did not disappoint. Our little Felix had a tumour and required a few visits before ultimately being taken my the illness. Both Pudsey and Yeadon tweed house were amazing, they really feel like a family place. They adhered to all our final request for our Felix cat and even allowed us to take home some of his fur for a memorial. They even sent us a sorry for our loss card after his passing which was really nice gesture on their part. Would highly recommend.
Feb 13, 2025 · Andy TeasdaleAlways really helpful and friendly, never struggle for an appointment or to speak with a vet if needed. My dog is always comfortable around them and he is treated great by the friendly staff!
Jun 26, 2025 · Megan AliceAlways chasing that extra few quid from you by pushing blood tests, fluid tests.Pricing not always accurate.Inconsistency with costs and service.Personally I don’t like them.My wife used them for a cat years ago, so registered one of our dogs with them. There are better vets out there.Tweed see your pet as a cash cow and not a member of your family.
Mar 06, 2025 · Daz DazMy wife and I have dealt with this vets for around ten years. They are good on both service and price and deal with us professionally and in a friendly manner. We have dealt with other vets but none have a look in in comparison.
Jul 25, 2023 · kevin thomaThe compassion and dignity my cat mittens received was wonderful. The care given whilst under the current climate has been second to non. (The same for the yeadon branch too) thanks for everything you have and continue to do for our pets.mittens a few weeks ago before he became too poorly 😢
