Sheriffs Highway Vets Reviews
I've used this surgery for around 5 years now and won't go anywhere else. The receptionists have always been very friendly, welcoming and polite. The vets are just brilliant with my dogs. They're always very understanding, sympathetic and have given me excellent advice. My dogs recently had a litter of puppies and we kept 3 of them. Sheriffs Highway were just wonderful with them when we brought them in for their first/second vaccinations. The puppies were extremely nervous and unsure what was happening, but the vet and the nurse (Alexis, I think her name was) were amazing with them. They made what I thought was going to be a very stressful trip for our puppies, very pleasant and relaxing.Keep up the excellent work.
Apr 25, 2025 路 Nikki SutherlandVery poor service to be honest. My dog was very poorly we know that he is dying but we visited this vet to know if we can do anything to save his life. The vet told us that he probably have cancer because he got a massive lump in his tummy and we can leave him in this vets and they will try to help him but this will costs us so much money. I'm normal person who works on full time, have kids, another dog and many things to pay so I will be unable to afford to pay for this. The lady who was checking Nero condition said is better to give him injection and let him leave this world and we decide to do not end his life this way because we needs to say goodbye to him with all family in our home not in wet front of strangers. She told us that we are putting him on risk and she will needs to report that to the animals welfare to make sure he will die in the ethical way... We took him home and booked for him visit in the same wet because she treated us with animals welfare to do the sleeping injection next day at 4pm but Nero feels that we want to be around him in our home and he passed away the same day at 10pm (day before the appointment). This was a very sad time for all of us but I have found it power to call this vets and let them know that Nero passed away last night and we want to cancel this appointment and this lady have no any problem about that. Few minutes after this call they called me back and they started to treating me that I need to bring Nero to this practice because they need to see if he is definitely death! Come on! People! For you all the animals are money and they are only animals but for us they are our family member and this time was very hard for us! I understand everything but not this. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Try to fine a wet who cares about the animals not only for money. Rest in peace my dear baby馃枻馃枻馃枻 we loves you so much and we will never stopped loves you. You will stay in our hearts forever!馃枻馃枻馃枻
Sep 22, 2024 路 Emilia 艢witalskaThis Vets primary concern is generating sales and not the animals welfare. I was charged 拢60.00 for what was a 15 minute consultation of which 30 seconds was spent examining the dog and the other 14.5 minutes were spent on the computer advising me how much the treatment was going to cost. After getting a 2nd opinion from an alternative vet I will not be returning to this practice. Very, very disappointing service if I could have given a Zero star review I would have. TO ADD after Reading your automated response and other reviews you obviously do not take customer feedback seriously. I wrote to your complaints dept with my concerns and I was fobbed off the same as many of your dissatisfied customers.Your customer service and care for the animals is very poor indeed and i feel unless you change your attitudes towards pet care and owners you will find yourselves with very few customers.
Jan 24, 2025 路 David HammondOur Athena ate an (almost) entire tub of chewing gum so she had to be taken to the emergency vet. The staff here were so professional, understanding and explained all of our options and costs. We were also regularly updated on what was happening to her in the consultation room. Most importantly they helped save our dog's life - thank you so much we really appreciate all that you did for her!!
Feb 18, 2024 路 Krisztina OroszI can't thank the team at Sheriffs Highway enough for saving my cat, Zidane, after he had a severe urinary issue. Laura and the team were in regular contact, always open and honest around the risks involved in his care and offered a reassuring service throughout. He's now home, and recovering well :)
