Vets for Pets - Peterborough Reviews
We took our dog to vets for pets because he was welping when you touched his back his temp was 40 degrees and his skin on his belly was red raw, after a consultation by the vet at vets for pets our dog was given pain relief injection we was handed gabapentin and sent packing with a £111 bill, I returned later that day with my dog as he wasn't him self at all still welping ect, again we was told to early to diagnose him and sent packing, he hasn't been OK again today we took him to a private vet, after he shaved our dog i was absolutely disgusted to find what we found and that 2 separate consultation from vets for pets did not highlight this in the first instance, he has holes all over his body, he had a twmp of 40 degrees still suffering with infection, and in a great deal of pain, they infact told me he had potentially been bites by something and had a reaction causing high temperature and also fever images are quite damming at the very least, I am absolutely disgusted that vets for pets did not pick this up in the 2 consultations, I will email the images to vets for pets for comment on why on 2 occasions I was shunned out the door i new I wasn't mental and I'm soso glad the vet we did see checked him over properly, however this then came with an editional cost of £700, if vets for pets had checked him over properly then this sum would have been significantly lower and if antibiotics had been sought in the first instance then he would of been on the mend, the vet we spoke to was shocked to hear that he had a temperature of 40 degrees and instantly looked for infected areas as my dog had a fever was shivering and body popping, whilst protecting the sore areas of skin, vets for pets you should be ashamed of your selves I will be withdrawing my dog from you kindly and sending him to an actual vets that care for your animals, 40 degree temperature red raw stomach and you gave him pain relief for potential pulled muscle or trapped nerve ? I ain't no vet but twice it told you that it's clearly more than a pulled muscle, the vet i took him to looked absolutely shocked when I told her this AVOID THIS PLACE YOUVE BEEN WARNED

Nov 24, 2024 · Natalija SemaskoWORST VETS EVER!! I paid to have an operation for my dog Daisy and I paid to have a sample sent off to the labs (£250) this was in September they have since sent me 2 new extra bills with extra charges on and have refused to give me the results for Daisy. I am not sure what was on these results but shortly after her operation Daisy passed away. ( I have now moved my other dog to a better vets. If you read through some of the reviews on here you will see I am not the only one who has lost my pet because of this vets. they are awful. Please take my advice and go elsewhere.
Nov 12, 2024 · Samuel WardDreadful service. Useless incompetent staff.Emailed on 11th November asking for a prescription for my puppy’s flea and worming tablets. Was told it was passed to a vet and they would call me when it was ready.Call back on 21st November asking where my prescription is to be told it hasn’t been done and they’ll get it to the vet today. Told 11 days is unacceptable for a basic prescription and all I got was fake apologies.Call on 25th November to be told it’s still not done because they need to weigh him first. I asked why this wasnt arranged weeks ago when I first requested to be told they don’t know. Staff member was ignorant, just kept offering insincere apologies which don’t help me.I have zero faith in this surgery. If they can’t get something this simple done in 2 weeks, how long would it take them with something more serious?Save your time and effort and go elsewhere
