★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have used this veterinary practice for a long time. The newest premises are very smart and the cat area is a welcome addition. Our vet Freddie was lovely with Ruby and the visit didn’t seem to bother Ruby at all.We would always recommend this practice.
May 21 · Kaz StaceyA big shout out to vet Laura after I had to bring my nervous collie in late on Saturday. After observing and listening, Laura managed a full examination and diagnosis of Nell and thanks to her thoughtful handling, we left the surgery with Nell totally unstressed. Laura's follow up phone call on Sunday was very much appreciated and really put my mind at ease. A very professional and caring lady!I would also like to acknowledge the confidence sessions that Nell and I took with nurse Sarah, who worked wonders with a nervous little collie and a stressed owner. These sessions were put to the test in our emergency visit and I can definitely say that it was time and money well spent.Thank you both for the care and kindness that you show to your patients.
July 10 · Jayne tattersallWe took our 6 month old English Bulldog to check out his eye, as we think there might be something in there. The receptionist was nice, but the senior vet Daren who seen to us was not. He had no patience and told me just to drag my dog onto a weighting scale. I mean he said he thinks it’s an ulcer, but then said no it’s not, he then said he doesn’t know if theirs anything in his eye because he can’t see, but it might be an infection but he doesn’t know, and to give him eye drops and an anti inflammatory. I mean he was very contradicting, very impatient and not sure he really knows what he’s doing. Our puppy was scared and shaking which he’s never been like that at the vets before. Not a good experience.
July 12 · Ryan SharpeI cannot fault the care and attention Northlands Hospital have given our dog - firstly when she got pyometra and then a rare unrelated condition 18 months later. Everyone we have had contact with - vets, nurses, reception and clerical staff have been exceptional. We are now back with our regular vets for her ongoing treatment, but advised we can go back to them if any concerns.
July 03 · Marianne FountainWe needed to use Northlands Vets for an urgent appointment. After explaining the situation over the phone, the receptionist spoke with the vet and asked if we could head straight down. Unfortunately, it wasn't going to be a good outcome, which we were kind of expecting. The vet, Liam, was really kind at explaining to my daughter what the best thing to do for our pet was. Thank you for your kindness and helping us in a sad situation, we are very grateful.
