Apr 10, 2025 · You KnowMy family pet Molly of 13 years who we loved so much was taken ill in the early hours of Saturday morning 05/07/2025, this vet on Park street was the only emergency vet open, my wife rang and the receptionist told us they charge £375 just to see her, we arrived at 05:30 am they took an age to answer the door, we finally got in and straight away the vet said it would be £600 pound to treat her Money Money Money No Compassion she had been in our lives for 13 years and these horrible staff and vet was only interested in Money not the welfare of Molly. Regulators need to be appointed to stop these gangsters and their inflated prices we need a governing body to sort these crooks out there is no one to monitor these organisations but I am going to research and start the process of trying to get a governing body in place to monitor these organisations we were advised by these to put Molly to sleep it was the most upsetting day of our lives 08:30 she was put to sleep and all they did was rush us it took 3 hours and cost £950 do not go to this vet our experience was horrendous no compassion no nothing left feeling cheated and empty Do Not Use This Veterinary practice. I am in the process of discussing this with a solicitor.
Jul 15, 2025 · Simon TaylorI cannot recommend highly enough. Our dog has been under the care of Mr Robinson for the last 6 years; having several surgeries & a lot of treatment. Everything is explained fully, in a compassionate way. Of course costs are discussed - all vets are expensive, but we have been given all info required and never felt as if money is the most important thing. Our dogs care has always been priority. We have good insurance, which I believe is absolutely necessary when you have any type of pets. We never expected to have so many health issues with our dog, but it happens and you have to be prepared for it. Without our vet, we wouldn't have our dog and I'm beyond grateful for that.
Mar 28, 2025 · Becca πSaved our dogs life twice. Mr Robinson is the very best vet in the area. Kind and caring, but also upfront and truthful; highly professional vet's practice
Jun 03, 2025 · Tepe VisioneeWe are rescue and were recently charged over £150 for a vaccination restart, which is hugely inflated compared to every other vets we have used for the same thing. I emailed the Practice Manager asking for an explanation as felt this was a mistake, but they have to date never bothered to respond to my email. Sadly so many vets are now owned by huge companies, just looking to make a profit, and not have the animals welfare as their main priority, which is why so many dogs are finding there way into rescue as owners can no longer care for them
