In my eyes, they care more for money than your furry family. Not all the people but definitely a couple of rotten apples work there. It's hard not to add swear words in this post, and I certainly don't post this lightly. 2 visits cost over £600. That was for bloods and anti biotics, and to be told, he'll have 4 to 6 weeks before he deteriorates. Sadly, he went down so fast within a week. My dog was suffering so much, and any animal lover knows how hard it is to make " the decision " When asking for the vet to come out as I was not going to put my dog through hell as his last journey. He could only make it in 3 days' time. The nurse on the phone didn't have an ounce of sympathy ( the kind of voice that couldn't care less, and she had something more important to do ) My only option was to ring another vet to explain my circumstance. They let us have some time with our dog, knowing his fate. The new vet could not believe what this practice was putting us through. Needless to say, we are out of Alexander's now and will tell anyone looking for a vet our story. Good riddance. And before anyone jumps on the band wagon. Some people may like this practice, and that's fair enough. I am only writing my experience. - Di Whiteside
