Vets4Pets - Cardiff Newport Road Reviews
Had both my cats registered there for years, Logan had a lot of health problems recently and all of the vets there went above and beyond to help him and me through it when a lot of other vets probably would have given up on him. Rudo and the whole team were amazing and they made an awful situation so much more bearable I cannot thank them enough
Feb 20, 2025 · Lauren MiltonNot a personal attack on the vets - they have always been lovely. However my dog became unwell around a year ago. After trip after trip, thousands spent, anaesthetised 3 times in 3 months. Given countless medication, he just got sicker and lost all of his character and energy.I eventually got a diagnosis of acid reflux from the specialist and appointed an holistic vet. The first thing they discussed was diet. At this point the vets had told me to put him on prescription dry food.Over the last 6 months I have transitioned him to home cooked food tailored to him, under the guidance of the holistic vet, and a couple of supplements. He has been off all vet medication for months and is a completely different dog with all of his energy back and more. Not once did Vets4Pets ever suggest looking at his diet (other than dry food). Had this have been done it could have saved me thousands and also a lot of pain for my dog.Medication isn’t always the answer and can cause so much more damage long term.Always do your own research!!
Feb 14, 2025 · Beverley RogersThe staff here are lovely. We had to put down our old lady cat recently and they were nothing but kind and supportive. They gave us time with her and were so respectful towards her (and had lots of tissues on hand)
Apr 12, 2025 · Sophie TwynamDisgustedly overpriced. Don't advise you of the cost before treatment and assume your financially able. Use human medicines which can be bought at less than half the cost of what these charge! I wonder if they are actually animal lovers considering the amount of rawhide sold in the shop knowing the dangers it causes. Looking to sign up with another vetinary practitioner who doesn't charge the earth for simple procedures.
