★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I just wanted to thank the whole team for their kindness and care. I have never owned cats before, however the team have been able to give me advice and reassurance over the phone when I've needed it, without making me feel silly or as if I am overreacting. My two boys (Nigel and Pablo) went in to be castrated yesterday, which I was really nervous about. Although I am grateful for everyone, I particularly thank nurse Claudia (cat lady?)🤣 enough for being so kind, funny, gentle and reassuring throughout the whole process including their pre-op. She absolutely made me feel so much better and I am sure my boys too. I knew from meeting her that they would be in safe and genuinely compassionate hands which is everything when you hand your babies over to be treated.I was particularly worried as Nigel wasn't as straightforward and needed more complex surgery for an undecended B***. The team reassured me that they would call me when he was awake which they did, but also that I could call at any time for an update which made me feel so much better. The team have been completely transparent and informative from the start. They have told me pricing and what to expect every step of the way.Thank you so much!
April 18 · Melieha BlackstockI have had to have 2 of my Maine Coon cat put to sleep in in Jan and one in JuneThe staff the vets were so kind explaining everything not rushing you they waited until i was ready i cannot praise and thank each and everyone of youThank youSandraI still have my other three with me
July 05 · sandra steepleAbsolutely wonderful Staff ,Lisa the Vet and the team showed the best in humanity, and Empathy with thebest care ever received from any Vets in 60 years. It was the most stressful and saddest visit for any pet lover. They looked after, our beloved dog Meg of 16 and helped her pass away gracefully, Can't thank them enough. Edina and Doug
January 02 · Doug MckeownMy Jack Russell had some teeth clean and 4 removed today the staff are absolutely amazing and done a fantastic job definitely the best place in Blackpool
October 08 · Tor RoofingCalled in for advice when worried about my dog on the weekend. She’d recently had surgery with a vets 30 plus miles away. I’d noticed that her stitches looked infected and called at Vets for Pets as I knew they were local, in-store and my dog does have subscription services for monthly treatments with them.I explained the situation asking if there was any kind of antibiotic cream, I may be able to buy. I was told by the receptionist that it would require a course of antibiotics and they didn’t have them in stock or an appointment available so to call the out of hours vets. I explained I was looking for someone to quickly take a look and advise ‘yes, it’s worth going to seek medical attention on the weekend knowing the vets is over 30 miles away or perhaps try something else. The receptionist explained it would require an appointment and they didn’t have one available today. She explained they had a couple of emergency cases in, which I understand however, the time it took her to speak to me for five minutes would have more than covered her taking a quick look at the dog and giving some over the counter advice.I would have been happy to have paid for a consultation. I’d have been happy to buy products but it seemed seeing as though they didn’t ‘have antibiotics in stock’, they weren’t interested in the health or welfare of the animal.I won’t return to Vets for Pets as it certainly felt as though they were more focussed on what they could sell rather than is your pet doing okay. I similarly felt this when previously purchasing her monthly subscription, which I did as a result of pressure to them only having availability of stock if I signed up to direct debit services.Happy to pay for services and subscriptions to support my pets health when she is well but I expect Vets for Pets to support her when she’s in-well too in an emergency without quibbling.Disappointed and won’t use their service again.
