We have always found Robert Jones vets to be an excellent service, we have been taking our pets here for the last 20 + years and have been very satisfied on each occasion.Sadly our little Georgie passed on the 3rd of March who was almost 19 years old.Tragically our little Harvey mitten passed on the 18th May, on both occasions Robert Jones Vets (all staff) treated our girls and us with incredible kindness and care.We received lovely cards and paw prints to add to our incredible happy memories. All staff vets, nurses and reception staff have been amazing, but a special thank you to Louise who was working when we took both girls for cremation, Louise looked as upset as we were. Thanks again to you all for everything.Karen & Terry Rogers
Jun 09, 2025 · Terry RogersI would just like to thank the staff at Robert Jones for their incredible compassion and patience that they shown us as we said our last goodnight to our precious Labrador. We have been to and from Robert Jones for a few years prior and we have never had a bad word to say. They treated both us and our girl with respect right up until the end and we will be forever grateful for their incredible service. Throughout the whole process of our most recent visit, the team was patient and thorough with their explanations of what was happening and what would happen next, allowing us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our beautiful girl. We’d also like to thank the Robert Jones team for showing their compassion and support afterwards too, a beautiful handwritten card posted to our home with our girls’ paw prints and fur inside and a packet of forget-me-not seeds. Absolutely flawless service through and through. We’re so thankful for their support and compassion through this horribly painful time.Thank you.
Feb 21, 2025 · Rebekah MattinsonMy nervous dog went for a vaccine this week, the vet Tina and the nurse Jaimie we’re amazing with her. They helped her feel safe and calm and she came out a happy little lady.
Jun 04, 2025 · Katie-Jane BennettWas a really good vets but has gone down hill, keep making an appointment for the same thing. My car is in pain but they tell me he's not showing signs or body language of pain becasue at the vets he surrenders ans is scared, he will let them take bloods etc without reacting. But at home that's not how it is. I get they are vets, but he's my cat and I am autistic and very intuned with his body language and pain signs. I've been right about him having pancreatis, when they said he was fine, but was showing signs due to him having it before, so I asked for it to be tested and I was right. Our previous vet said he ahd other things I didn't believe and I was right, the previous one binned us of with anxiety but it ended up being hyperthyroidism, I'm glad j trusted my gut evrytime. But he's had several appointments for his mouth since December and they jsut keep saying he's fine.
Mar 19, 2025 · Amy Jay Eastwood-GrimesWas a really good vet hence the 2 stars, one vet was good especially. My cat had a toof removal and had an infection. Because he required several follow up appointments despite still not recovering and having an infection, he was prescribed a course of antibiotics and wrote off. After that we was back and fourth with him still experiencing mouth pain for a further 2 months being told it was anxiety cause they couldn't see anythign failing to do a post op xray to see beneath the service, we was given countless appointments to be brushed off with the same thing. It wasn't getting better, we was back and fourth, jsut anxiety, which has now lead to my baby having painful ears which he's never experienced for well over a month, he's hiding all the time, hyperventilating because of the pain, showing all signs of pain, we was told he's not showing signs of pain. I had enough and took him else where, they immediately recommended an xray to find his toof that was extracted was infected in the bone, he's on stronger antibiotics, still having problems with his ears which is due to this. I knew it wasn't jsut anxiety and my boy was in pain, not every cat shows the same signs when at the vet. My cat will let a vet examine him because he's scared. Not every cat, bites and scratches when in pain. 2 months my boy has been left untreated after the infection, no post op xray.Hes still in pain. Ans I'm jsut praying he will be okay, no thanks to this vets.Further on, he was vomiting similar to a past episode of pancreatis (tends to be triggered after being an the pink antibiotics). He was also given a bottle of metacam despite me stating he has a bad reaction to it and that being on his notes, then less than a week later we was given another one after his dental procedure, whilst saying how the metacam is not good for him I get another bottle waved at me which we was alrwady charged for along with the procedure despite jst being given one and saying we had to stop it. It wasn't taken off we was sent home with it.When i brought him in with pancrestis, they said it was jsut anxiety AGAIN, I asked them to test for pancreatis in his bloods, the next day I get a call from the vet saying it's panceeatis. Yet if I didn't know the signs from before and ask them to test for it, we would have been brushed of with anxiety again for that aswell.Im autisitc and cats are my specialist interest ans world, he is my baby, Some people might not be so intuned in their cats/dogs/furbabies, due to no fault of their own. Thank God that I am. I just wish I moved my baby sooner, rather than not only taking him back and fourth but £50+ a time that coukd have been spent elsewhere that would have listened. I jsut hope my boy gets better soon!
