Flynn Vets Commons Brae Reviews
I can honestly say that as a family we could not recommend another vet as highly as the team at Flynns! Our beautiful German Shepherd girl Lola became very ill, very fast and it was apparent she wasn't going to get better as she had been diagnosed with cancer that rapidly took hold of her. The team at Flynns did everything they could to help Lola, they eased her pain and discomfort, allowing us to have a week with her to say goodbye properly. She was our world and we were able to take her to her happy place, the beach and a few little walks in the park and for her to have all her favourite foods and treats and best of all to get all the love we could give her! When the time came to say goodbye, they gave her the dignity she deserved and treated her with so much respect and love too! They made what was the hardest day for us easier and Michelle gave us paw prints and a cutting of her hair in a little bottle. They truly felt more like friends than vets and had so much empathy for what we were all going through and most importantly for Lola! They also sent us a beautiful sympathy card a week later. Thank you so much for your kindness and support! Jane, Lola and family. xx - Jane
Apr 14, 2024 · Jane DonnellyI have always found everyone in the Commons Brae branch very helpful. They have continuously provided fantastic care for my dog. Just recently one of the vets went above and beyond finding out information for me and another member of staff gave advice for grooming. I have no hesitation in recommending Flynn Vets.
Feb 19, 2025 · Deirdre CousinsHad our staff Lola operated on 10 weeks ago where she had her TPLO surgery,I must say she is doing really well and I can't recommend Dan and his team enough, they were amazing ,and the aftercare via the pet smart app has been superb. Thank you everyone at Flynn Vets.
Oct 09, 2024 · Aaron HamiltonMy cat was quite ill and Aoife at Flynn's was able to see him at short notice and give him a thorough assessment, recommend and carry out a course of treatment. A very professional service, also very friendly and empathetic, cannot recommend highly enough! Cat is now 100%, thanks to his treatment.
Aug 16, 2022 · Patric BairdWe've had a really great experience here with our elderly dog Rosie. Her original vet did not want to risk surgery for a large splenic tumour and we were reluctantly resigned to losing her. However a few months later as she deteriorated, we sought a second opinion with Dan at Flynn vets. This resulted in a successful operation to remove her huge tumour which subsequently showed no sign of malignancy. Seven months on and Rosie is active again and loving life. Dan took time to explain the possible risks and benefits of surgery and gave no guarantees as to the outcome but at all times we felt he had our pet's welfare at heart. The whole team at Flynns have given great care to a much loved pet and have hopefully enabled us to share in a few more of her twilight years.
