Apr 03, 2025 · Lesley EvansI was staying in Reeth for a few days and my young dog developed a limp which I was worried about.I rang the surgery and the receptionist was so helpful and sorted an appt for that very day in their little part time surgery in Reeth itself. The vet called Linda was very reassuring and gave my little dog a thorough examination. Thankfully there was no serious problem and she gave appropriate medication.I was extremely happy and grateful.od

Aug 02, 2023 · jacqueline wroeWish it could be -5 stars. Utterly abysmal. My dog needs an op and we have been quoted close to £1000 by another vets, I've heard great things about swale vets surgery so thought ill ring them to see what their pricing would be. I was told they would need to see my dog in order to quote (understandable but surely a non guaranteed ball park figure could be given) and was also told we would need to register with them so I said ok. The receptionist then came back and said yeah if we registered you then you would need to remain a client here?! (Huh but what if your even more expensive?) So in summary I would need to register with you and agree to remain with you in order to HOPEFULLY save some money on a surgery for my dog? Absolutely not. Sounds like they like a captive audience to try to rinse as much money from as possible. What an incredibly negative experience that was. The customer always has freedom of choice whether I'm registered with you or not. Get rodded swale vets surgery.
