Mar 15, 2025 · Laura UnderwoodTook my cat in because she was being sick alot, blood tests were done but still couldn't find out why she's being sick(apparently the blood test showed she's fine).I was totally caught off guard when the vet suggested putting my healthy cat down, just because they couldn't find out why she was being sick. She's only 12,she has a good & happy life.I very quickly told her no!.I am going to register my cat with a different vet,I don't trust nene vet at all now.
Apr 25, 2025 · joannevmcgrawAlways excellent care for our sheltie. Each time he needs a vaccination, they always check his records, without fail, to see about any health concerns with it. (Our sheltie's dad had MDR1, so certain vaccinations won't work out on our sheltie.) We're always more at ease with our beloved dog in their care!
Mar 11, 2025 · L.H. KnightIt was easy to get the day and time I needed for my pets annual check /vaccinations. I was greeted warmly by both reception staff and vet on arrival. My pet was cared for very well indeed.Thank you.
Feb 18, 2025 · Marianne HillWe recently lost our beagle Benny when we had to say goodbye last week.We have an 8 month old cavalier King Charles who we are moving from this vetsWhy you may ask. I took Benny to the vets a few months ago with regards to incontinence and was told he had to have blood tests and urine tests and was given a course of antibiotics along with eye drops and other medication. After the test results were completed we was told he had indeed got a urine infection and then was prescribed more anti biotics. Two weeks later he started to detiorate and was told to have another test at a cost of £600Test results not conclusiveIn the meantime Benny is still losing wait and incontinence and end up at vets now over a weekend where they gave him an injection for pain relief and advised to take him to vets early following weekFollowing week visited nene vets and advised that we should see specialist in Newmarket. Took Begay to Newmarket after various calls from them prior to visit to clarify thingsVets records show Benny as un neuted male dog Benny was nueted at 9 months Benny had only been with them sinc 2018 Benny had been under them since 2016Was advised by Dick whites taking into consideration insurance budget left that best course of action would first be to do a full bladder scan. And then go from there.Anyways this was Thursday when returned from Newmarket. On Friday Benny took a turn for the worse and my wife on returning from work after 5.00 pm had to make the decision to ring the vets again and then take Benny to them. It wasShortly after 6 on a Friday night that she arrived at the vets and was told why didn’t you bring him in sooner as we close at 7. A full blown row then started with my wife and the Italian lady vet. My wife explained what dick whites had said and her retort we havnt got time to do that now I can do a quick scan as we close at 7.I arrived from work at 635 to again be met with we are closing in 25 mins you have a choice I can do a quick scan and blood tests now or you can go to vets now. To which I said ok we will go to valets now. This is where it changed one of the lady’s out the back came through as I’m sure she could hear the commotion and said she was willing to stay and do the scan.to which I will always be grateful. The lady vet now seemed to change and decided to stay and assist with proceedings. Anyways after the scan it was found that Benny had bladder stones and no matter how many anti biotics you shove down his throat it will not help him without surgery. The vet prescribed more pain relief more anti biotics and pro biotics and urinary food despite our insistence Benny will not eat kibble. Anyway we were asked to take a urine sample in the next morning. Urine sample was taken in the next morning and tested and yes Benny had a urine infection. Surprise surprise,She even gave my stepson another set of food which is on top of our fridge with the first set.Following on from this visit it was arranged for Benny to have surgery which we would be at a cost we was led to believe on the Friday visit of £1800?We spoke to the vets Monday who confirmed that the surgery had been booked for Molly (who you may ask is Molly this bennys sisterWho the lady vet booked in by mistake)Anyway Adam asked for a conference call on Monday afternoon to discuss the operation. Adam rang me as arranged and we discussed the operation at length. Firstly whilst at dick whites I was advised by them that Benny was high risk and they didn’t think he would survive surgery without being on a ventilator.Originally we were told on the Saturday that Benny would be home at night after the surgery then on Monday Adam said he would need to be hospitalized for at least 2 daysWe thought originally we had enough money to cover bennys surgery but after discussions with adam I was advised it would be between £4_5K a far different cost to £1800 and the high risk Benny wouldn’t survive.Sadly we had to make the decision to let Benny go peacefully
