We’ve tried to vaccinate our new kitten for about 2 months. We were on the waiting list at a few vet clinics. But MyVets have found a time slot for us straight away.Julie is an excellent doctor! All vaccinations and treatments are finally done. We’ve also managed to get our little Boris neutered. He’s recovered quickly. And the receptionist Lucy was helpful and really kind.
May 17, 2024 · Liliya MillerI'm really fed up of never being able to get an appointment. The Bacup branchs' opening hours are all over the place and infrequent.I walked downstairs Friday to make an appointment only to find a note on the door saying that it's now only open occasionally on a Friday and that it can change week to week.I live in Bacup, I registered there, I want to take my cat there but ever time I want an appointment sooner than 3 months, I have to get a taxi to Clayton le dale and back.I had an appointment booked at accrington, but they cancelled the appointment and didn't call me (although they refuted that) and I only found out by chance. So last minute I had to go yet again to Clayton le Dale.I should be able to walk to the vets, but I end up paying £70 for a taxi very time now.I emailed about them not informing me and having to go to Clayton le Dale instead, and told them i couldnt afford the medication because of the taxi fare and asked for £25 compensation (the price of the meds, not even the whole taxi fare) and they basically said "not our problem".Why not just close the bacup branch?Sick of it.
Jan 21, 2024 · gareth johnstoneCouldn't get an appointment for boosters.....it happens, but a 3 month wait?Found another vet, they were confused as the medical records sent showed that the dog was given 2 different type of booster injection at the same time.Less than impressed.
Mar 31, 2023 · Andy WilliamsSadly we had to take our beloved Rottweiler to be put to sleep, the vet and staff member could not have done anything better. It was done with such care and compassion and the vet was very reassuring, it's clear that they really care, we also received a lovely card through from them, saying sorry for our loss. Fantastic vets with the right attitude and compassion.
Jul 27, 2020 · Dawn HMade an emergency appointment to see the vet to get a prescription for ring worm medicine for my cat. Was told this would cost 38 pound to see the vet and 16 for the prescription on the day. After going to appt and seeing the vet was told at the end that prescriptions weren't issued there and would need to wait 7 days for it to be issued! Meaning the whole appointment was a waste of time and seeing the vet (which cant issue prescriptions???) was literally pointless. THowever if I wanted the medicine from the vet there at a massively increased price could have straight away. Obviously making it difficult to get the medication online to make you pay the rediculous prices they wanted to charge. A vet who cares more about money than the welfare of animals should be ashamed and shut Down. Never use this franchise vets and go to literally anywhere else.
