Kitz-Katz Cattery

Woodside Bungalow, Stoke Rd, Kettering NN14 2SP, UK

4.0
Unlike all the other catteries we have used over the years, we have always been allowed inside on collection and drop off just to check out the surroundings. On collection I was told to wait outside a gate and a young girl (with poor communication skills) brought out our cat. I found this very strange how I wasn’t invited in, unlike all the other Catteries we’ve been to.There were no updates or photographs throughout our time away - which maybe we’ve been spoilt before - but I think this is a nice personal touch we did not receive. I had no idea what the room or the Cattery even looked like because the website is so poor and outdated you can’t see any images. When I asked whether our cat had been okay on collection, I received short response and was told all the information on what she had eaten, how she had been etc. was in this one page, almost unreadable handwritten sheet of A4. Not the service you expect from a Cattery. Take the time to communicate with your customers - all it would have taken were these small personable touches. A handwritten sheet of paper is not an acceptable handover. A real shame as when I popped my head over the gate (because we weren’t allowed in) it looked a beautiful setting inside.Needless to say we will not be returning next year. - KL

We'll delve into the specifics that matter most to pet owners, from their location and accessibility to the nuances of the services they offer.

Understanding a facility's approach to animal welfare is crucial. While Kitz-Katz Cattery is not a veterinary clinic in the traditional sense, a professional cattery plays a vital role in a pet's overall health by providing a safe, clean, and supervised environment when owners are away. This peace of mind allows pet owners to travel without worry, knowing their feline friends are in capable hands, even if it's for a short period.

This article also touches upon customer experiences, providing a balanced perspective gleaned from public feedback. While individual experiences can vary, understanding these insights can offer a more complete picture of what to expect. Ultimately, the goal is to equip local residents of England, particularly those in and around Kettering, with the information needed to consider Kitz-Katz Cattery as a viable option for their cat's boarding needs.

The address, Woodside Bungalow, Stoke Road, suggests a setting that may offer a more tranquil environment for pets, away from the immediate hustle and bustle, while still being easily reachable. Stoke Road is a known thoroughfare in Kettering, indicating good road access for those travelling by car. For individuals relying on navigation systems, the full postcode, NN14 2SP, will ensure accurate directions to the cattery.

Accessibility is a key factor for any local service, and Kitz-Katz Cattery’s position within Kettering makes it a feasible choice for daily drop-offs and collections for many local residents. While public transport options directly to Woodside Bungalow might be limited, as is common with many catteries that often reside in slightly more rural or residential outskirts for the benefit of the animals, ample parking facilities are usually expected at such establishments for the convenience of clients arriving by car. Local users in England, particularly those in the East Midlands region, will find this location well-suited for a quick and easy journey.

Understanding the local road network is also important. This strategic location enhances its appeal to a broader client base, ensuring that even those a little further out can access quality care for their cats without extensive travel times.

Any concerns would typically be communicated to the owner or their designated emergency contact, and veterinary attention would be sought if deemed necessary.
